They’re swapping the engine out in the dumpster, that’s why the hood is still up.

I'd totally drive a dumpster. Chain drive, front cut out for a plexi window, and of course a racing steering wheel for those sweet track meets

    Sup everyone!! :hattip:

For the record, today has been a dumpster fire since the minute I walked into work today. Days like today make me question why I ever went into management. :bananadead::bananadead::bananadead::frusty::frusty::frusty:

Hope everyone else's day is great!!

100% agree! Although I'm not a people manager and don't really aspire to be one.

We have a management call every morning at 0930. People don't mute their phone so you can hear them talking, typing, eating etc... Best ones are those who put the call on hold so everyone else (25+ participants) get to listen to the hold music while trying to discuss anything. There was also a committee meeting this morning that should have never happened. Hospital is limiting in person meetings to <15 people but there's 30 people on this committee.
    Meeting chair:
you gonna be at the meeting this morning?
Me: Not with that many people in that room no. Give me the call in # and I'll call from my office
    Her: I didn't arrange for a call in #
Me: Guess you won't see or hear from me then

Wow. How do they ever not have a call in number?

And who the heck is hosting these meetings that they don't mute people or what meeting application are you using? If someone is echoing or calling in but its going to their voicemail or something stupid I mute them and they can figure out getting off mute if they need to talk. We can actually set up ours to mute everyone upon entry which can be really nice.

I don’t know... don’t you think that could be a little trashy?
I mean, it would be a waste of resources and the DOT would likely refuse the application to get it registered.
Not to mention the fact that it would run like garbage.

Right?? She's inept at organizing anything. This committee is all OR, Cath Lab, Birthing Center and Radiology folks along with purchasing people. She's an RN rep in purchasing and has forgotten that those on the clinical side of things operate on a tight schedule all of the time. She was apparaently so excited to have the first in person meeting since March that she forgot to set WebEx up. :frusty:

Our COO and Chief of Nursing host and we use WebEx. they leave it up to each individual to mute themselves.

Thanks for the thoughts but we’re doing well. Just outer bands swinging through and dumping every hour or two. Bama and the panhandle are getting torn up really badly. :(

They apparently don’t know this! I have never used WebEx other than as an attendee. I’m gonna email them both with this tidbit of info!

    Thanks Tiffany!! :fistbump:

Good luck! In your general preferences for webex you can also mute entry and exit tones which is helpful if you have large groups and don't want the interruptions but once you're in you can mute everyone in mass

There's way more capabilities in the training webex platform but I've never used that as a host and only a panelist.
