What are you paying for 2020 Tacomas?

Do you mind if I ask what dealer and where? I was searching for a 2020 - same package earlier this year, then COVID hit and prices went up and I've been waiting since. I had a dealer reach out to me a few days ago stating he was getting a 21' in with the color and same package but wants MSRP - $44,992 and I would have to travel 600 miles. If I can find a 21 for around 40k, I'd jump on it. He said he'd have it by the end of the month.

 

Costco auto program tells you what invoice is.

 

Invoice is still over what the dealer pays for it, they won't tell you that. But, with crazy high pricing there may not be much room for negotiation. Plus, dealers will include the Toyota cash back incentives in their discounted pricing, so ask for their price without any incentives.

 

Costco just released the 2021 build option. My build is coming in at a $40,789 invoice (TRD OR, DC, LB, Premium OR package, tech package, LED lights). How accurate is this invoice? A dealer is telling me their invoice is $42,700. And said "well give it to you for 42, that's 700 below invoice". Im in Colorado and he said he isn't allowed to send me invoice sheets.

 

They're defintely including the $1000 Toyota cash back incentive.

 

the dealership initially quoted me 5,000 over msrp got that off right away though that was absurd

 

They charged you for six gallons of gas????? Should come with a full tank!!

 

Need some advice.. on 2021 SR5 with MSRP of $38,180 I am being told they can sell to me at invoice for $36,300. So that would be discount of $1,900 off MSRP, but does that sound right for invoice? I was not shown any official looking document like shown above, just given the # and so I've only go that to go off of. Any advice would be appreciated.

Every dealer I've been to (admittedly not a ton) has been so proud of their "and a free first tank of gas!" that I thought it was just standard practice. Not only am I baffled they aren't trying to play it up as some sort of huge benefit by giving you $20 in gas, but actually charging you for it on top of that... wow.

Colorado here - offer is $39000 before tax for a 2021 Sport Access Cab, premium pack, tech pack, blackout pack, LED DRL, and all weather floor mats + door sill.

 

Agree, I got my DCSB SR5 V6 4x2 back in May and was $31,500 (Redwood City, CA) pre-tax. I understand mine was a 4x2, but $42k for a 4x4 SR5 is crazy. I guess if you want a Tacoma now, you gotta pay to play.

 

How much is the msrp in Colorado on a trd OR 4x4? And do they mark up for black Tacoma’s?

 

Did anyone finance a 2020 Tacoma with a 7 year plan and if so what was your apr?
