Hey guys just recently upgraded to a 2020 Tacoma trd sport 4x4 super white. Should receive it next week, since it hasn't been delivered yet. Wondering if I got a good deal or not I paid 37,000 out the door. Drove around to a couple dealerships found out finding Tacomas on the lot brand new isn't easy, and not many dealerships coming down on price due to the demand and supply. If any of you guys recently purchased a trd tacoma 4x4 what was your out the door?

What's your specific build sheet look like? I mean 37,000 otd sounds fair for Covid times but what can/bed size, auto/manual, any packages or accessories? Any extended warranty?

Also post up this section of your sales paperwork. Making sure there is no VIN or personal identification.

Total MSRP was 38,284. I had them throw in floor mats as well to sweeten up the deal. I currently don't have that paper yet. I laid a deposit down and was pre approved through my bank for 2.03 finance so I went with them. Once the truck comes in I will go up there with the check from the loan.

Really? Floor mats, that's all you asked for to sweeten the deal? lol

Sorry, got caught up in the floor mats and the separate thread. OP, you got a pretty good deal for the times. Someone did indeed pay $42k for a SR5...I don't believe I saw floor mats in his deal.

Once you go pick up the truck and have once again settled on a final price, get them to beat your bank's loan.

When we bought the wife's Prius and haggled the final price, they spent an hour arguing that the best they could do was 3.9%. Once we whipped out the check for 2.14%, I swear it only took them 5 minutes to come back with a 1.9% offer. Everything is a bargaining chip when it comes to taking money out of their paycheck

I have already settled on a price, I have a signed retail purchase and paid the deposit. After I negotiated the price I told them I will be slapping 27k down and then they looked shocked lol

Sounds like a good deal. I assume you did not get the tech package? I got a killer deal pre covid . I paid 43K OTD for my 20 Sport 4X4 DCLB tech package . I also had them include back flip cover in sale- or else I would walk.

No tech package, so didn’t get the new headlights unfortunately or upgraded stereo or leather seats but yea I feel like I could upgrade the headlights for LED for aftermarket for less if I wanted. But thanks man! I’m stoked can wait for it to be delivered!!

Congrats bro! Your gonna love the 2020. I went from 2nd gen 13 sport to my 2020. Try to get the dealer to throw in something- I always do that and always works/ got something. Had them throw in backflip on my Taco. When I got my second gen 13- made dealer thrown in bed extender (which now on my 20). Got my wife’s 20 Rav and made dealer throw in Toyota sun shade and all weather mats. It cost nothing for them compared to your business/ incentive they get from Toyota. I use to work for a major Japanese motorcycle/auto OEM and I know how much kickbacks dealers get for moving products off lot. Work it to your advantage.
