I'm running 265/70/17 BFG KOs on SEMA wheels. I have a 1 inch lift (spacer) in front and the mud flaps on. No rubbing or any other problems on or off road.
I sold my TRD OR wheels/tires W/O TPMS sensors for $600 in literally five minutes on Craigslist.

It would be EXTREMELY unlikely for that size to rub. And if it does it won't be enough to hurt anything. Even in the same size tire there are minor differences in actual measurements between different brands so it is theoretical possible. That is the biggest size you can buy without doing any mods to the truck.

I had about 600 miles on them. I probably could have gotten more, but I just wanted to move them. I had a couple of squirrels try to lo ball me, but I had plenty of people who were hot to get them and had cash. There are a good number of tire places that sell take offs here, and that is where the guy that bought them was from. No haggling, cash and done which tells me there was room for a little more. A reseller is likely to get more than I could as a Craigslist seller. I was fine with it.

This is a good site for size references for various tires. It'll also calculate how off your speedometer will be compared to stock.

I'm in Canada guys, threw them on Kijiji for 1 hour and they were gone. $1200 CAD is only about $900 USD +/-

Without a raise is it better to keep the 16’ rims or put the 17 ‘ trd rims as far as off reading goes?

I've been running these 4runner (265/70/17) take-offs for over a year, no rub. But my front mud flaps are a little shorter than stock.
