I tried the vent/magnetic mounts, but in the summer it blocked cool air and in the winter I didn't like how the hot air hit the phone. Tried the stick on magnetic mounts, but the with the summer heat I'd find the mount on the floor. Tried the cup holder and it actually worked pretty good, but after a while I decided I wanted that space back. As of now I'm trying the Panavise and it seems to check off all the boxes for me. There's also the pillar mod that I use for my Garmin.

Plenty of threads out there. Just have to figure what is best for your application.

It appears I purchased the Panavise bracket off of eBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/151803444952

    The phone holder https://www.ebay.com/itm/283805599345

And this to allow movement and rotation of the phone holder. https://www.panavise.com/index.html?pageID=1&page=full&--eqskudatarq=170

The phone holder held my old Pixel 2xl and now holds my new Pixel 4 just fine.

Everything added up $$ just like the pillar mod did, but looking back on what I spent on the two magnetic mounts and cup holder, it's about the same.

Sorry no pictures of my setup, but there are others who have posted. Here's a tip on mounting. After marking where the mounting screws needed to go, I heated up a very small nail and melted each pilot hole for the bracket mounting screws. To me, it was easier than trying to drill the pilot holes.

I have an iottie qi charger. I bought a ram ball mount from @Lostsheep. He might still have some, I don't know.

I like the set up I have with an articulating, locking, ram arm and my phone sits above the shifter.

If you’ll consider other than dash mount..RAM window mount is awesome. Easy in n out and very stable. Have mine just above left side air vent and it’s great
