I don't think you have to serve in the Calvary or the Army to like any or have any of those colors. They are just colors unless you try to be a poser.
I wear camouflage at times and don't feel like I'm posing. Of course I don't try to wear anything with patches or anything that looks official and would say I'm not a veteran and I just like it if anyone asked.

Are you thinking of hot lava? Never came out for the Tacoma.

Inferno has more gold/yellow flakes in that pop in the sun.

    Army Green.

Would be Cement, if it weren't a metallic.

Now you tell me! :). I was kidding.

But seriously, I like all of the colors. If Army Green was available I probably would have gone for it. Toyota has good taste when it comes to colors, for sure. Of course, with my luck all that was available was the Metallic Gray. Not my first choice but I do like it. But then again I don't get too worked up about colors.

They do have colors that look good and stand out.
I think the metallic grey is a good color. I would have bought it myself if it were that or white or black. It has just enough metallic in it to catch your eye. It's not boring like whites can be.

Gotta go with Cement. I also really like the Cavalry Blue, though. If it hadn’t been discontinued it would’ve been a contender when I bought my current truck.

Cement is my all time favorite but I would have to go with army green if I ever needed to get a new one. Saw one in person the other day and hot damn it was a neck breaker.

I've never seen Army Green in person... same with the Cavalry Blue TRD Pro, Cavalry Blue Limited, Barcelona Red TRD Pro. This might sound like a surprise but there are two 2015 TRD Pro's in inferno in my neighborhood, one of them is access cab and they are rare as hell.

Nice. Infernos are nice to. However when I saw the army green PRO, I gave the dude a head nod as to say what’s up but secretly was drooling all over myself lol. Such an awesome color. All that being said though, I still love my cement and all the things I’ve done to it. Wouldn’t trade it for anything :D

I went with cement. But barcelona red was high on my list even though I know its not a special color.

The cavalry blue is just really pleasing to look at. I like army green but I wonder how quickly the novelty would wear off if you could see them everywhere. Still happy I chose BBP though. It really fits here in Florida and I rarely see another Taco in this color.

Cavalry blue is a great color for the Taco, but I've only seen that colour on an FJ in Australia. I like Grays - but cement is a tad too close to silver. It needed to be darker and NOT metallic. It does look great however - best in the shade when it looks non metallic.

I do not have much of a connection with the military so it is not connected with a service branch in my mind as someone mentioned above. The army green makes me think of an 'old' Land rover 110 - the kind I drooled over when I was a kid... and this is why I really like that colour. I've never seen an Army Green tacoma in person - but I am sure it looks great.) That Green and the Quicksand in a vehicle, in my mind, represents 'Offroad', 'Adventure', 'Camping trip' etc.

Quicksand also brings those same LR Defender memories...

Since someone is already out of the closet, i'll join in... I like the Lunar Rock... It is a non metallic colour - although it should also be gray-er.... I recently saw a new Rav4 in that colour the other day and it actually may grow on me on a Tacoma...

So in order these would be:
    Army Green
    Cavalry Blue
    Lunar rock (maybe?)
    Cement
    Quicksand
