If it’s my signature, you can click on the little blue arrow on it and it will bring you to the thread.

It was true then, and apparently by what I read still true today, and no one has said it better imo.

You've got to appreciate a man that is that passionate about the transmission in his mid size pickup. :)

Were it not for TW, I'd have never given mine a second thought.

Good lord that was excellent. Time not wasted.

Pff. Kids in the bed, gear in the cab. The kids will stink worse. Everything in the bed though. Keep their gear on for protection. Either way, smaller families are good for the earth. :D

Manual Transmissions tend to be a pretty good natural deterrent for that. ;)

    Yes.

From the day I drove my truck home from the dealership, I have never experienced anything remotely like a problem with the transmission.

There are some decent hills around the Northeast, and where I live aggressive driving is a high art form, and my truck drives fine.

There must be some trucks with wonky transmissions, but I believe most of the whining on TW relating to the 3rd gen transmission is due to operator error.

So I leave that quote in my signature out there in case it might help someone, maybe even subliminally...lol
