Nope. I also don’t fit in them. Sat in one once. The guy had a convertible with the top down. I would not fit inside with the top on.

I would look over the windshield when I drove it.

Miatas demand that the top be down all the time. I never even used the door to get in, just throw a leg over and slide in.

I'm only 6' tall, but when I sat in one at a car show with the top up, my head pressed into the top. That was about 20 years ago, and I need to stop by to see if they've created more head room in the current version.

I was drooling over the next FRS/86 being turbocharged, but reports are saying that isn't happening (again). Bummer. I actually fit in those cars.

My fresh new barkbusters got here today. Time to replace the slightly-melted-definitely-scratched-beat-to-hell-held-on-with-a-zip-tie-in-one-spot old ones with some sparkly ones. Also put the double take mirrors on earlier this week. I'm taking tomorrow and Friday off work and hoping the smoke clears enough I can spend most of tomorrow riding

    Edit:

Anyone else use Rever Pro? Trying to figure out where to go tomorrow and looking at all the Butler graded roads around me:

Anyone have comms? I’m looking in to them now. I’d like to get the Cardo as the people I typically ride with all have Cardo units so it’d be convenient to easily join the mesh network. However, seems the Cardo units I’m looking at don’t play nicely with my helmet. Not sure why not, I think it’s speaker size but I’m trying to find out for sure. Sena is supposed to be really good fit, but I can’t join the Cardo mesh network so it’d be a bigger pain.

Anyone in here know what the differences are between a KTM and a Husqvarna? Specifically between the 450/500cc enduro bikes? Dealers around me say different things

The main difference would be linked rear suspension on the husky, none linked on the ktm. Different rear sub frame material.

This is a random question...but have any of you guys been to other motorcycle forums? They are garbage compared to the set-up and user-friendliness of tacomaworld

I'm pretty active on ADVRider.com, FJRForum, and FJRiders. All of these use different software to run their forum and ADVRider is the most similar to this place. FJRforum has done some upgrades but I understand it's an expensive endeavor when you run something like this for free with no subscriptions or ads. FJRiders is run by one guy out of his house so it's a lot smaller than this and to most folks probably looks a lot less polished. Don't let appearances fool you though as the folks on it are damned knowledgeable.

I just joined here recently when I bought my Tacoma and while I've learned a lot about them and would like to meet many of you IRL motorcycles are really my primary interest and means of transportation.

Line wasn’t too bad. Was #37 and only took an hour and a half if you count the half hour early I showed up.

are you more comparing the husky 500 to the ktm 500/same for 450s? or the 450 vs 500? 450s are going to the "race" bikes although the 500s arent too far behind if you just look at recommended maintenance. the 500s are pretty damn reliable though and i wouldnt hesitate to get one. Husky is going to have some of the better equipment (billet triple clamps for one), link suspension on the 500 vs pds on the 500 (450s should both be link
subframes on husky are composite vs aluminum on the ktm
yes im on thumpertalk, advrider, and ktmtalk. used to be on 600rr.net or whatever it was
nah, its the GFs. it doesnt get ridden a lot so i figured id get it out. definitely odd feeling coming from the KTM for so long

Yes I’m comparing the husky 500 to the KTM 500 and the 450/450. So the main difference would really be the rear suspension right? I’m kinda a noob at bikes so I don’t really know what linked vs nonlinked is. My current bike is a KTM 450 Factory Edition
