what is your favorite special Toyota color?

No option for BBP? That color was never a pro only color granted, but it is arguably the best blue out of the lineup. Too bad they discontinued it (and had issues with the clearcoat in '17). If I had to pick one from this list, then I'd go with cavalry. That color was only available for two years (one year pro only) and it looks great clean or dirty. Not sure how well that one will age tho. I think Cement would be my first choice of I were to buy one today.

 

Blazine Blue Pearl is one my favorites too but yes sadly Toyota discontinued it.

Which doesn't make any sense because Cavalry is yellow. Infantry is blue. Not sure where Toyota came up with the phrasing.

I have a Calvary Blue- so it gets my vote. When I made my purchase- I basically made the deal over the phone - with a dealer around 3 hours away from our farm. I was buying Silver, I usually buy Silver, Gold or White vehicles. They had one silver and they jokingly said they’d give me a great deal if I took a Calvary Blue (they had several TRD OR in that color). I asked how much off (same optioned truck)- they gave 1000 or maybe it was 1500 off. I asked to see the color - didn’t hate it so I wrote the check. I actually love it now, and while color is not hugely important to me, I’ve never owned a color vehicle that has gotten so many compliments. Silver is still my favorite color for a vehicle, but I like the green of money much more.

Voodoo blue has my vote for favorite special color that I would likely never purchase myself. It’s fun to look at, though.

That's perfect, "special color that I would likely never purchase" - agree it's a cool color and I can see why some like it, but it's a way over the top "look at me" color imo and I could never drive it, as it is I feel too flashy sometimes in my bbp!

Every time I look at my voodoo blue I smile, but it would be nice to fly under the radar around town once in a while.

like 100 posts and here asking opinions on toyota's colors. Hello, 'totally-not-toyota-marketing'

 

Mine has evolved over the years. When I went to purchase my first taco, 2017 model, I liked the quicksand version. Up until I saw that God awful interior color scheme. Then I ended up liking cement but the girl didn't like it, so we compromised and I didn't get it... Now I'm in love with the army green. Girl has a deutan color deficiency, so she sees the truck as brown. I tell her that her argument is invalid.

 

Inferno is the only color for me. It looks so good in the sun.

 

Cobalt Blue Pearl, it was available on the 95-97 trucks. People tell me it's purple all the time. I like it enough that I almost want to pay to get my paint fixed. Almost

 

My co-worker says my 96 is purple, I tell him no it's blue.
