Tranny issues

Hey

I have a 2017 dclb. Around 50miles an hour if I step on the throttle as to pass a car or merge. the truck will jerk a bit and go. The jerk is felt from the back end kind of it’s hard to tell to be honest. If I coast and feather the throttle I can make the truck jerk the same way. Any suggestions where to look? I feel the truck shifts from 6th to try fifth and goes into fourth gear. Some one told me to look at the slip yoke/joint? It doesn’t make any grinding noises etc. Just a leg or jerk. Has anyone else has this issue or point me into what to look for

 

that's pretty normal for these transmissions. although it's more of a surge than a jerk... i always drive with s-mode on 4 or 5 to prevent that behavior.

 

Are your u bolts loose. Check the torque on them.
Sounds like axle wrap.

Could it be from 2 inch lift block in rear?

 

Yes, potentially.
Try tightening the u bolts though.
