    This!
I leave a mess at the car wash, they don't like it when I show up.
And when you think you got it all you start working on something under it later and it gets all caked in your eyes and mouth:rofl:

Oh you were at the brewery with your wife and adorable daughter! I knew I recognized your name. I had the man bun.

I'm sorry you guys can't make it this weekend. I didn't get to talk to you really but your wife was very welcoming and friendly and your daughter is so cute

I specifically go through golden nozzle three times in a row......even though I have to fill out paperwork for the second and 3rd time I need to get it done again, it does state that if you are not satisfied with your wash they will do it again for free.......i take advantage of that shit.....

Is that for self wash or automatic wash?

I'm not allowed to go through automatic washes, I get yelled at because the next car is driving into my mess:bananadead:

I’d bring my lab but she get horrible anxiety in the truck and her arthritis is pretty bad :(.

Also, who sells radios in house? If I order online it won’t be here in time for the trip

Best Buy has some options, at least at the Albany one. Not as fun (illegal) as the Baofengs everyone else uses.

Not really. It’s not like the FCC is out monitoring the airwaves and trying to triangulate the locations of people. Now if someone used these radios to start messing around on a police frequency or something else stupid...now you are giving them a reason to come looking for you and the unlicensed radio operation charge is the least of your problems.

legal answer: yes. The FCC certifies radios to be used on the GMRS/FRS bands. You cannot use a radio on those bands that is not licensed to be used on those bands. The baofeng radios are not licensed. so even with that alone, no bueno.

secondly, there are power limits on frs and gmrs which the baofeng radios (et al) certainly don’t maintain limits for.

So. You’re (probably) transmitting with too much power using a (definitely) radio that you can’t use anyway.

edit to add: sorry I’m a buzz kill. I work QA aerospace. Government rules and regulations and knowing the “legal” answer is my job.

Question: do I own a baofeng?

I believe you can get licenced for GMRS if you pay, I forgot how to do it though.

yes it’s a 70 dollar 10 year license no classes or tests like ham. But the radio itself is still illegal regardless. Forgot about needing a license for the user though, good point.
