Emergency brake cable that attaches to the leaf pack on each side, check the problem side and you'll see that its stretched too far.

No need for extended brake lines on that lift.

When they lifted it they probably snagged it on something or stressed it too much. Gotta be careful with the brakes especially up front When you disconnect your upper arms etc

I just lifted mine but made sure that wasn’t an issue — used a bungee or rope up front and jacks and stands for rear

if it’s Rear check the line and post pictures of it close up for us. We should be able to give you better advice if we can see what you see

I was referring to if they messed with the lines and snagged it or something.

I think lifting a vehicle it's not really needed, but that's just me. I watched this guy that took a stock 4x4 (competitor to Tacoma's) and he went from Alaska all the way down to Argentina, then he got his vehicle on the boat to Africa and crossed that continent also with a stock everything...just my .2:burnrubber:

Depends on the trails and the type of off-roading you are doing.

People do the same thing in motorcycles, doesn’t mean I’m taking a Harley up Holy Cross....

Your emergency brake cables are likely too tight. This mistake is repeated hundreds of times each day. There is an adjustment inside your center console to loosen off the cables, which is a hassle to get at, so lazy or naive mechanics installing lifts never bother, causing endless people grief, like myself.

I had the exact same people with only 1.5” in the back.
