Thanks. Being tuner illiterate and happy with my current tune from the handheld, I will stick with what I have.

    Thank you for replying.

@OVTune seems the links provided in the first post are not working, directing to a page that no longer exists.

I am interested in a flash tune for a 2005 4.0L, Normally Aspirated, running 87 octane. May consider upgrade to 91 octane.

I have a 2013 4.0 Tacoma and I purchased your orange virus tuner about a year ago to find out that there was nothing available for my truck so I was a little depressed about that I really hope we can get something available for a second gen tacomas here soon it was about $600 for the kit and I really wish to use it

It's the kit that came with that little orange device that you plug in to the truck itself and then you transfer information to the computer I think..

Let me know when I could expect to use it please and thank you..

I will have a list of items I am using on the truck...

    pulley driven procharger 15 psi/Intercooler
    75 mm oversized throttle body
    Custom intake manifold/pipes 3"
    Exhaust headers/dual exhaust 2.5"
    Complete engine port and polish
Oversized valves with performance spring kit
    HKS ignition coil
    URD camshaft exhaust gear
    URD fuel pump kit 320lph
    URD fuel injectors 355
    URD 70 degree thermostat
    NST pulley kit
    360amp High output alternator
    Molnar rods
    Aria's piston s
    Head bolts
    Stock crankshaft
2,500 lbs curb weight.. from 4,750
    60% carbon fiber custom parts
    Had 50% weight reduction

I hope this is enough information for you to be able to create a close enough tune for my application
My goal is between 500-600 HP
    top speed 200+ Governor kill/w 2 step
    Possibly
    URD ucon system soon

I am also curious, what is your ECU ID / Calibration ID?

I don't have the URD ECU yet
I would like to have it cuz it has a nice engine protective service on it that is my next purchase..
Other than that I was probably going to put the pro charger aside and just get everything installed now and just run a naturally aspirated setup pretty much everything on the list except no boost

You think we can set up a tune for me so I can get this bad boy running

You do not need a URD ECU.

I cannot find anything from your email. I will email you how to get setup, but the process is changed from when you originally ordered.

Pretty much everyone else with a 4.0L with our package has been tuned for a long time now.

Oh okay I must be looking up the wrong thing I go on to the website to download the pre-tunes to get some examples to try them out and I haven't seen much.

For now I'm starting basic while I'm building my other motor.
The current motor that I have in the truck now is a 4.0 1GRFE
With intake manifold cold air intake with the 75 mm oversized throttle body and exhaust manifold with dual exhaust
    NST 3-piece pulley kit

I was going to just start with that and get a tune and see if I can get everything to work real well together and see what I can get with that I'm going to go for maximum horsepower with everything I have currently

Once I'm done building my other motor I gave you a list of everything that is going into that build so I'm doing everything by hand it's taking me awhile to get everything built since I'm busy with other things but once I'm done with that build I will then need a way more serious tune for that because I'm also adding boost with my 2nd motor..
    It's also a 1GR FE 4.0

yeah I didn't send anything with my last email I just sent you just the email so you can contact me if you can send me a link or even better should I just give you my phone number so we can go through the steps to get it figured out it's always hard to communicate over text or email going back and forth it's always best talking in person so it's a little bit less complicated

Sorry to give you such a headache
I'm just very anxious to get a tune for my baby beast! LoL, later

You need to build the motor before you get a tune created. How much of this have you accomplished? You’ll have to forgive me but a lot of this sounds like fantasy.

Does this give the ability to have/create expanded load tables, over the OEM N/A map, and/or the TRD S/C map?

This is where the HPTuner is limited, if I remember correctly. Which would make it challenging for a built engine turbo build.

Right out of the box no it won't have that feature, it will be something we will implement depending upon how well received our software is. Don't take it the wrong way but I don't want to spend a bunch of time coding a bunch of cool features if everyone is just going to use HPTuners.

I have stuck with your product this long, I personally prefer to spend money with you supporting your business than jump to HPTuners and depend on other forum members for tips and tricks. I’m 96% certain you know what you are doing.

Is there anything you, or anyone else is specifically looking for, or want?
what kind of features, what kind of things, etc.

One thing I think you boosted guys are really going to like is our Alpha-N Density patch.
This 3D table (currently works, tested, etc on the 3rd gen and tundra) works like this:
you can directly modify the amount of fuel you want and resulting absolute load through this table. RPM vs TPS
it's very, very helpful for tuning boost.

and then of course the other stuff, closed loop fuel tables, etc.
    table 1 F.jpg

    Thank you! I appreciate that.

4.0 support will be a little later this year. Right now we are working on 2TR 2.7L and 5.7L

I completely understand that. That could be a benefit over the HPTuner though. Since they are limited to finding the TRD tune to have the expanded load tables. Which still aren't good enough in a lot of turbo style applications.

That then comes back to what you said. Market appeal.
