Why are MESO Customs and their distributors always sold out?

As a rookie with no skills it’s a very easy mod. Bleach and rattle can the color of your choice. No problemo. I love how mine came out.

The shift boot collar was much harder and mine looks like poo. That’s the one we need. The cup holder trim is 10 times easier.

I think MESO would benefit from scaling up but would need very trusted people on his team, not some schmo off the street. See also the pelfreybilt thread for how this can end if you’re not careful. Still, demand vastly exceeds supply and has for the last 3 months so we will see how that progresses towards the end of the year. The ball is in his court and we now know from this thread that something should drop in the next 5-6 weeks. Perhaps he will announce that he is naming a child after some obscure aircraft or something just to keep us confused.

I take a somewhat different stance than “buy everything you can” because it’s a community and hoarding isn’t cool even if you have plenty of funding. I would like to think we can all be adults and only buy what we plan to use. I feel a little guilty for the 3 items I haven’t installed yet. I could have knocked one off the list in the time it took to post this.

It is an interesting problem to have. Other companies would be far less willing to pass up potential sales. I hope we can all at least agree that MESO sets and meets a very high standard of integrity.

Yes. But a fugly black. Some streaks of bronze maybe from the chroming. More photos here. You can survive painting it. I went through all the stages of grief. Acceptance is not far away.

I can handle the painting part, I just want straight plastic. That plastic looks like it might clean up okay with 00 steel wool.

BTW, Easy Off oven cleaner is great for stripping plastic fast.

The packaging my ultimate map lights came in was so clean and professional. Not to mention the shipping turn around was fast as hell.

Be glad we have access to guys like him and SCS. Quality > quantity any day of the week. Pumping out shit to make the guys who aren’t patient happy is a short term vision.

 

Just think, you could have a MESO display case in every Toyota parts department! OP would have bundled your mods into the monthly payment.
