I love that a few tool brands leaned in to the hammer wrench combo and gave us what we've all been doing anyways.

Who has an abrasive/sand blasting cabinet? Mine needs new gloves and the hold down rings but I can’t seem to find the rings except for one company which seems a lot for the simply job they do. Anyone have something else they used?

Last time l took a broken ratchet to Sears was about 15 years ago, they gave me some shitty replacement that was not even close to the same quality as the broken one.

Do you need the actual flanges or just the clamps? The clamps are just a hose clamp so you should be able to find them at the local hardware store. Or Amazon/mcmaster-carr if not

I took a broken ratchet into a sears once and they wanted a receipt and a bunch of nonsense. It was out of a set I got as a xmas present so I didn’t have anything. I thought it was A no hassle warranty. Just pushed me further to buy Snap-on stuff. They lost several thousand in sales from me.

Actual flange. Old ones were plastic and fell apart in the sun

anyone here have any experience with the Milwaukee (or similar from makita, etc) vacuums, and the Dyson handheld thats similar form factor

I've heard the dysons are overpriced, so I'm wondering if the Milwaukee m18, is comparable performance wise or if the price difference is justified.

I'm talking about this one for reference:

Are you only looking at handheld dustbuster type vacuums? I have this one and love it as a general shop vac. The rectangular form factor was big for me, since you can stack things on it for better use of space inside a cabinet.

Another consideration is which cordless tool platform you use. I have mostly Milwaukee M12 and M18, so that was the other big factor in my purchase.

I have been down on Craftsman for awhile, nothing like they were when I was young. However I did buy a couple Craftsman power tools in the past year because it was the only option available and I needed them that day.

yea, I have M18, so I'd get one of those, but was looking at the dustbuster ones for general use in and around the house. Would probably get that shop vac at some point too though.

I got both but prefer the smaller one . Easier to handle and does a good job . Sucks battery pretty fast though . Recommend 5.0 battery up. I got the 12.0 and last a long time
