    na very uneventful. lots of Old sign, no new sign. Seen a lot of predator tracks so I think they had all the elk pushed out. was some deer sign down at the river we crossed but wanted to spend more time chasing elk. I have a deer hunt in October where I'll chase bucks around with the bow more seriously.

    Gonna head out again this week. Been hearing that the Elk are starting to rut and make some noise. woods was super quiet last week
