Branch! That’s even the cove we live on, just the other side of it. I’ve walked by that house dozens of times. First year in like 34 that I haven’t been :(

between Covid restrictions early, work and a pregnant wife is just didn’t work. Next year will just have to go twice.

They picked a good year to sell it, though. A camp down the road from us, on the same cove, with similar acreage and lower-quality waterfront just sold this summer. The owners were asking $300k, it was on the market for less than 24 hours, and sold for $345k. The camp next door sold this spring for over $250k. Just nuts.

Yes it is an insane sellers market for the rural places right now. Everything in my area is over priced and selling fast

Yeah it's crazy right now. We paid less than half of what the places around us are selling for, just a year ago.

The market right now is making me contemplate selling my place and turning a quick profit :drevil:

Gotta find somewhere to live afterwards, though. So if you sell your house for a profit, you've then got to go and buy another one in a buyer's market. :notsure:

I've got some nice heavy duty card board boxes from my new washing machine. I can get by!

Yeah, but then you have to contend with the neighbors under the bridge

Right, and if you think you're seeing lots of herion needles alongside the road, you ain't seen nothin' yet! They're probably stacking them up like cordwood under the bridge

No, no, no... You're looking at it the wrong way! That's just efficient resource management!

Sorry I just stumbled across this. I'm interested but most likely won't be free until after hunting season, but please keep me in the loop

I don’t see me getting to it very quickly, it’s been two years so far.

Well, winter time works, so long someone has a heated garage. Otherwise, spring/summer it is, lol.

I started looking for waterfront property for the hell of it and it's slim pickins in MA - southern NH. Prices are insane and getting bought up over asking price very quickly. I bought my house 5 years ago and could turn a pretty sweet profit but I'd probably still end up not being able to afford what I really want.. The next place will be my dream place.
