Good to know, I guess I don’t mind cutting the flare, but I’d like to keep the liner intact for my door jam things

Yeah the liner is important, I learned that the hard way. If you have to cut the liner like I did, replace it with something else..Flex Seal or whatever. Getting a ton of mud in your door jambs sucks especially if you do a lot of wheeling in wet conditions

So I drove around 3 hours down towards Austin, TX Tuesday night to go pickup an optioned out DCSB camper shell. Planned to sell my gold one and get this one for way less than the cost to paint mine. Plus it’s a 2016 vs a 2003 shell.

Told the guy at 6:30pm it would take me about 4 hours to get there plus removing my current shell off my truck. He agreed and sent me his address. In route my ETA ends up being around 11:15 so I message the guy just to keep him updated. When he told me that 11:15 was unacceptable and “too dark” (and 10:30 wasn’t?) I almost rolled up to my buddy’s house to crash there and meet him in the morning.

So the guy just messaged me again asking if I still want it. Now I’m sort of pissed. No dude it’s 5pm and if I start driving now it will be too dark for you. Thanks for wasting my time and gas.

oh ok. I know they have an image storage feature, it's like 5/gb free with a Prime account. But I remember reading somewhere that the fine print gives them license to use your stuff if they want. I'd have to verify that but it wouldn't surprise me

Their music is $1? Spotify cancelled my student discount since I’ve been enrolled in it over 4 years. I used my high school dual credit .edu email. I could just make a new account now that I think about it.

I would offer him to Venmo half and link him to social media you’re on if it’ll help him not be paranoid although this is the point where I’d weigh cost vs benefit of dealing with a goofball like that.

That's where I'm at on things. It would be a major risk to make the journey a second time and still come home empty handed. Some of the Austin TW guys were interested in helping but I left them screenshots of the guy's responses and they (understandably) were no longer interested.

75 pizzas in Texas could just be for a normal 5 or 6 person family though
