New Taco with app question

Just purchased my Taco TRD OR a month and a half ago, and was wondering if I can program all my doors to lock and unlock. I read on the tips and tricks that if you have a keyless entry(which I have) that you can do that by highlighting the vehicle tab in Apps- Vehicle- Vehicle customization, you can do thiS.

When I try to highlight the vehicle under apps, it’s subdued and not bold like the rest. Anyone have any thoughts.

I think you can just hold down the lock and unlock buttons on the fob at the same time until you see the lights flash. Then when you unlock the truck via the drivers door all doors will unlock. If using the fob to unlock you still have to push twice but you already have it you hand so....,,

I read on here how to unlock all the doors by touch but you can't lock them automatically you have to lock manually.

 

You should be able to adjust this setting through the head unit (I did). If something is "greyed out", make sure you are stopped/in Park. If the vehicle is moving, you won't be able to access or change certain settings.

 

I was sitting in my driveway without vehicle running when I tried, but “vehicle” was greyed out.

 

Figured it out. The truck had to be running in order to program.
