Did you get the blue or ice blue? Which one matches the OEM dash lights better?

Where did you find the DRL harness for the RAPTOR lights?

Nevermind, DD makes one. Thanks anyway.

Pretty simple process, just need a hair dryer and some goo gone. I haven’t done it myself, but this video explains the process really well.

It’s really easy, I didn’t use any heat at all. Just peel it back gently and try to keep it in one piece. I used goof off “heavy duty remover” (which is different from “pro strength” and seems more gentle) to take off the remaining adhesive, then spot washed and spray waxed. I did it the day I got my truck so if yours is older YMMV.

I'm looking to order the door bowl lights shortly and I now see there is blue and ice blue... Anyone know what the difference might be? Which is best to match the overall blue lighting from the Tacoma's dashboard and controls?

From what I’ve gathered, the ice blue is close to stock lighting.

Yeah, they have two different ones now. One for head light add a fuse and one for the DRL harness

Did some lettering. Not really happy with the way the engine cover turned out so I'll be redoing it ion the future. The letters and emblem are both curved and bowed making them hard to paint.

So the part you ordered exactly covers the frame trim then? I thought you’d have to custome make the plate depending on how much trimming you’d have to do

Piece of cake to do, I let mine sit in the hot N.C. sun for about an hour and get nice and hot, then simple peel it off. The trick with getting the glue residue off is soak the towel with solvent and press on hold in on the spot and let it sink in, don't try to wipe it right off, As it starts to dissolve and gum up then you can start to wipe it off.

I’m not happy with my plastidip on the numbers either. I think I’ll eventually do some stickers for those, but for now it’s out of sight out of mind.
