What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

I bought an AR lower in the middle of the madness a couple of months ago and it took like 30 seconds.

I’ve also been background checked to high hell for my job, so maybe that helped.

i dont know how it works, past the FFL call in, but ive only had trouble one time back around 2002 or 2003. Ive had no problems since. And now with ccw i dont worry about Getting delayed

 

If you're not desperate for ammo, cool your jets for a while. This will be over (til the next time) and all the folks that 'stocked up' at high prices will still have most of what they bought. Demand will drop, manufacturers will catch up. Prices will drop to near normal. Buy then.

Or if you have to buy now just to get some, find 1 or 2 locals to split case buy. Buying 2-3 boxes here n there is gonna destroy your wallet with S&H fees.

 

Are you sure that excludes CCW holders? Even with my CCW they've run NICS checks on every purchase I've made from FFLs in both Florida and South Carolina. I just don't have to pay the $5 for the NICS check.

 

Could be. My last purchase in SC was in 2012 before I moved back to Florida. When I bought my stripped lowers last year or the year before I had to wait for the NICS check before I left the LGS.

 

It could also be because that gun I bought in SC was from Academy. I think their policy is to run an NICS no matter what.

Haven't really looked there since the panic buying started. I’ve gotten a couple thousand rounds of Wolf steel case Grendel online for an average of about 40 cents per round. I’m good on 223 for a while.

 

These guys are close to me and have some awesome deals I just picked up 21 round P320 X5 mags for $34 each

 

Nice, looks like if you buy more it brings the price down. They just need to roll out some deals on the 365xl mags

 

Went to 3 different stores yesterday and was able to round up 11 boxes of this stuff.

 

Stopped by my LGS and grabbed a box (limit 1 per customer). Paid more than I wanted and I don't really need it, but sticking with my process of buying some here and there to keep the stock plentiful.
