In E Wa/N ID thread, one guy just asked about doing something Sunday and another guy was talking about exploring trails sunday by CDA.
I live about 15 minutes north of Spokane, and the smoke is definitely worse at my house than in Spokane. I can't speak to Idaho though for smoke levels.

The 3.0 v6 is kind of known for the head gaskets going. If you do get one side done, get the other side done at the same time. I was talking to another guy about these engines awhile back, and he said that at one point, he replaced the gasket on one side, but not the other, and was having to tear things apart again less than a month later to replace the other side. White exhaust is something consistent with moisture, usually coolant as others have said

 

just drop a 3.4 in place of the 3.0. better engine. more power. almost a direct fit. just gotta chance some parts from old engine to new. and dont have to worry about the shitty head gaskets anymore

I mean, I get 10 percent of the sale so I'm going to post it for a stupid amount and take a "lowball" offer. The 3. Blow did stupid good, no issues with it until now. 305k miles on a stock headgasket is pretty cool imo.

There was that group buy for one of the “loose” packable systems that just finished up. By the time you added it all up it’s was about $225 with all the goodies for a 4 tire system. Well... nobody said don’t do it so I ordered the Updownair system. $224 no tax and shipped

 

Agreed it's likely a head gasket.

If it was a 4runner, I'd say $1k. But the pickups are worth more, so you might get the $3k price you mentioned.

Thought I'd take a quick lunch break from work here at home and put on some pants to go paint the welds on the sliders installed last night... picked up jeans... looked out window... RAIN.

Obviously a good thing, but dang it! Wanted to slap some paint on there BEFORE they got wet.

I would be interested in the seeing the product but have reservations about the heat on the feed lines to the hardmounts at each wheel well.

Go to Daft Badger Brewing in CDA. Get the Josiah stout. They also have another stout that is the Josiah aged in bourbon barrels, and has slightly higher alcohol content, but I like the flavor of the original better.

I finally got around to returning my recalled harbor freight jack stands today. They are offering cash or store credit now, but you get more back with store credit. I went with the cash for my two sets of 6 ton 61197 stands.

 

Sold it for 3500 bucks within an hour of posting it. Lol

 

Now that we've had some rain to test with, I can safely say the ST Maxx blow the Ko2 "out of the water" with wet weather traction

 

Question??? Pulled a screw from my tire about a month ago. Threw a plug in it and have been driving it, fairly hard, with no issues. I know this is a risk. Question is: Can/will a tire shop still be able to properly patch/plug my tire still? Puncture was in the thick tread and closer to the center of tire. 10,000 miles KO2 285/75. Damn KO2zzz

 

I’m in the market for tires as well and are we’re considering the ST Maxx since it seems like a great all around tire, but I want something more aggressive looking like the STT Pro or Goodyear MTR.

did you cross shop any other tire?
