Hey all - need your input/advice/help. I paid the $1 background check a few weekends ago to buy ammo, locally. Great. Ammo was stupid short on supply and expensive. I'm thinking about driving up to Reno this weekend to load up. Anyone know how things are up in Reno to sell to Cali folks? Are they checking at purchase? Do they care or only on our side of the invisible line, as long as I throw away my reciept after purchase, there's no other way to tell where the ammo came from, right? I know there's a pew pew thread I can ask as well... but not sure how many of those folks know our Cali/NV struggles. Thanks!!

 

Most pies are better from Machado's. Blueberry is the only one I prefer from Ikeda's.

I've heard a couple of things though you know it's hard to quantify. I've read places like Cabela's are staked out and if you have CA plates, cross the border, go to Cabela's, turn around and come back CA, there's a chance you'll be stopped and asked about ammo purchases. At the very least, your plate may be recorded.

I've been to Cabela's since ammo thing and had no issues.

 

The views were fucking outstanding! We did most of it right at sunset. Was getting dark right as we came up out the east side.

 

Drove through the highest vehicular tunnel on the planet today.

 

Truck officially made it's highest elevation and farthest point East, it's ever been today.
