I just read that the next Starlink launch will re-use the booster that Bob & Doug used to get them into orbit.

I'm pretty sure it still has the NASA worm logo on it.

Removed. Shame, since it would have been awesome to use it for Crew 1.

I wasn’t old enough to comprehend the tragedy when this happened, but that doesn’t mean that it didn’t squeeze a couple tears out of me when I happened upon the memorial hall for Challenger and Columbia. I know I posted this pic before here, and I know I said it before, but if you get the chance to visit KSC you need to see the memorial.
There are shadow boxes for each astronaut with personal effects and biographies.

I like it. Starship is high risk, high reward, Dynetics is useful and medium risk, BO is the low risk 'team of everyone' option.

In all honesty, I wish they wouldn’t do this.

    Do what?

Be transparent in their attempts to engage the public? or

    Not have the Starlink project?

If it’s the latter, I’m there with you. I have an ambivalent take on Starlink. Love what they’re doing to further space transportation technology but cringe about all the satellites Spacex and others are putting up there. The fact that govts are allowing multiple, competing networks of internet service satellites is especially disturbing to me.

    Yes, the latter.

Seems there won’t be a spot on this planet where one can go and not be bombarded with signal. No place to truely unplug.

Turn off the device in your pocket? Seems pretty simple.

Interesting take on it. I was thinking of the impact of looking up at dark skies
