Ok, so after mounting my 35x12.50x18 grapplers, they were only rubbing on the front arm of the uca's at full lock. My former 305x70x18's never did that. I suppose the added half inch of height and width of these 35's. So I got Spidertrax 1.25" spacers just in case that happened. Put them on today. That stopped the rubbing on the uca's, but now they were rubbing on the fender just before full lock:annoyed:
So I ended up doi g what I didn't want to have to do...trimming the bottom 5" of the fenders, liners, and flares. I was so pissed...I was hoping the 1" body lift would have helped prevent having to trim them. Anyway, I'll probably have to trim a little more before going offroad, but, for now, they're not rubbing anything.

On the positive side, adding the spacers made a noticeable difference in handling. It feels like I added a stiffer sway bar! ...and, to me, it looks so badass with the 35's. Especially sticking out that 1.25" further. (I know, I know. Not looking forward to added rock chips on the sides of my truck)

Pics coming. It was just too dark when I got home from work tonight

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
If I was to get a 1911 to shoot, itd most likely be nighthawk. If I wanted to get a safe gun, I'd get a matching numbers from ww2, with papers.

But I'd also like a browning highpower with wehrmacht markings (from when they controlled the factory)

I still rub my UCAs a little on the front arm at full lock. I just avoid full lock now. If I bump up my spacers any, I’ll rub everywhere else and I really want to avoid that. I just live with a little shiny spot on my uca.

Hey folks, been lurking for a while but haven't posted in here before... Happy Friday
In case anyone's interested, I have some take-offs after a few upgrades/changes I'd like to get out of my garage!
    - OEM tonneau cover with hardware ($150?)
    - OME Dakar medium duty leaf springs, about 2 years on them ($300?) (includes additional 1/4" shim for driver side to help with lean)
    - KB Voodoo bed rack, fits over tonneau cover (2 rails mounted to side brackets with hand knobs - easily installed/removed. has been touched up where powder coat started to peel) ($75?)
    - If there's any interest, I'd like to replace my current fab fours rear bumper with a high clearance. Fits 3rd gen with no modifications... I bought this in a pinch when my stock plastics got hit a little while ago. It's in perfect shape.

I'm in Vienna area, work in Reston. Give a wave if you see me out there. I'm the blue '16 with too much shit on it and lots of bike racks...

Been trying to find something, since installing the body lift, to fill in this gap between headlights/grille and the front bumper

Can you just wallow out the mounting holes on the bumper to raise it up?

Being a body man.. I'm surprised you haven't bent up some and formed some metal in there. color match it as well. But then again, probably more trouble than it's worth.

No, I already looked into that. That's what I did for the rear bumper, but just won't work with the front. Something would have to be fab'd up to make the reinforcing side brackets to still work too and still maintain strength for winching. I suppose it's possible...may be a good winter project

Yeah, I guess I'm just too lazy to take off the bumper.:D I'll just use this cheap fix until I get around to fabbing something up. I'll probably just remove the 3 bumper mounting studs and weld another plate on the frame with three 1" higher studs on it.:fingerscrossed:
