I use FF and it’s held up great under my truck , in the high spray areas it’s hard to keep on but everything else has been great . I did it last year and won’t be needing to do it again til next year probably . I plan on washing it off next summer and trying the WW

Don't worry, they use that crap up here too. It's a wonder my truck still has a frame.

@Bigdaddy4760 after awhile FF Gets a film of dirt/dust over it and in those areas it doesn’t look wet anymore , although it doesn’t dry . If you touch it , it’s still “fluid” .

last year I had big issues with FF sticking well on the rear axle area spray zone, i swear it was bone dry when i got down underneath many months ago to cop a feel
i have black WW sprayed all over it now so it should be easy to tell how well it sticks running through rainy & sloppy roads

Yes, a percentage off it gets washed off, so it’s not like it gets real thick with gunk.

    To many, but never done
I will never understand the concept behind all that crap anyway.
Just throw sand down, you can drive on top of sheer ice with sand on it.
Granted they will be busy as hell throwing sand everywhere:rofl:
Or just go back to dirt roads everywhere!
Well until it's all muddy, but even then....

i think insurance companies are forcing the hand of local and state road depts. to use it to AVOID paying out as many icy incidents but idk

    I’m in the same boat.
Just got my first gallon can of WW today.
I’m wondering if WW is taking the place of FF:notsure:
I purchased from Kells before but saw no evidence of FF on their web page.

I love the stuff , yea it’s messy working on the truck because it doesn’t dry so if you hit it by accident it rubs off onto you but hands down it works great for preventing rust . I think you can buy it at Home Depot in the cans but you gotta get the stuff marked AS11 on the back of the can (I think it’s near or by the bar code) that is the same stuff used for spray guns . That’s the good stuff

Because I think the make different “versions” and some of its thinner and not as thick as the stuff in the gallon jugs , the stuff in the gallon jugs is NAS11 I believe and the rattle can equivalent is AS11 . Same thick stuff just with aerosol
