I should pop bushings Out of the arms I have, just to get it done.

 

Bushings are important, I would if I were you

 

I’m not gonna swap the arms out till next summer, and I don’t have the replacement bushing yet.



oh and im 5 hours away from the arms ha

lol I didn't remember who I sent those to - was there something that didn't work out?

 

You need to smooth it out somehow or your new bushings will get chewed up

 

Totally understandable. It's hard to lose them

The bushings were rust welded in the arms, I've spent 8 hrs today trying to get em out lol eventually had to burn em out with the cutting torch

I've seen others do that successfully - did it make them unusable somehow?

 

Ah yes, atleast you took the time to do it right the first time

I'll use various grades of sandpaper to take the edge off then. Thank you for the vote of confidence.

 

Sucky - you need a dremel if you don't have one already. I've removed pilot bearings and several other press fit things against surfaces which need to be saved.

They come with things you could basically erase that burr with.

 

Wont look like that for long.

 

I wouldn’t worry about the nick. If it really bothers you JB weld then sand it smooth to the rest of the bore.
