Fingers crossed for you. Covid spread through my family like wildfire at the 4th. 7 people tested positive. Everyone was symptomatic and recovered. Only grandpa was hospitalized for 24 hrs for pneumonia.

Hopefully you both are OK and no gym sessions are missed :fingerscrossed:

Is it the angle that makes your feet look too wide and your knees slightly caving in? I just bought a trap bar, but the stupid collars are too short for my big ass bumper plates...clearly it was designed by a weak person...lol. Ah well time to fine some calibrated steel plates i guess.

Feet are wide. Was experimenting with placement. I do get slight knee cave on heavy squats but I’m working on that as well.

this one was a Rogue one and it’s got room for all the plates!

This gym has been one of the best gyms I’ve ever had the pleasure of working out at. They have sooo many options.

Same where I am now. At first I hated it because a lot of IG chicks use it and it's a bro gym. After I became friends with the manager he ended up buying me a yoke, sand bags, a new log, throwing bags, and basically whatever I want. They already had a nice rogue SSB and trap bar that no one uses, plus an endless supply of deadlift and squat bars. It's badass.

Lol...if you don't fall the last 2" on to your toilet the morning after legs, you haven't actually worked out.

Gross. I haven't done weighted lunges in years, but I remember once, back in the day after watching a Ronnie Coleman video I decided to do them and I think I wimper-cried like the last two sets.

Having torn a hammie though, don't fuck around with an injury there....my $.02 Mine has never been the same and noticeably impacted leg growth and imbalances.

I’m curious to know what my first injury will be tbh. But wimper crying is hella relatable

You haven't had an injury yet? I am jealous. My last one was a slight bicep tear doing burpee chin-ups in January. Felt the damn thing pop, luckily it wasn't too bad...no surgery or disfigurement of the muscle belly. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself that no one gives a shit how tough (read: stupid) I am, though I probably wouldn't have listened. In a real way, I like the suffering of working hard; I think that if you don't practice discomfort, when it really comes for you, you won't be able to handle it. That is a generally positive attitude I think, until it isn't anymore lol.

I didn’t have health insurance for like 3 years of my life. While working out, cardio and mountain biking. Gotta say I’ve been blessed with zero injuries.

Shitty. Every time I take my dog to the vet, I feel bad for uninsured Americans. Shit's expensive lol.

Better find some wood to knock on.
Especially doing those heavy weighted lunges.
