You must've had modified your upshift tables, because I did this intentionally. Looks like you did it unintentionally haha. If your upshift 2-3 table isn't 69 at the max then you modified it to go in to the red line. Its ok because the fuel cut is still at a modest 7000.

I just changed the top one that's called throttle limit 1st gear or something. I didn't touch the 4hi or lol or reverse ones below it. Haven't driven it yet either

Fuel cut in Matts 2.0 is 7000 for ours (04B04) but the shift points in his tune shift around 6000 so I up'd them slightly. If you dont like it you can revert the top values back to what was in his original 2.0 file, or the stock file they should be the same. Right now I'm rocking 75 so that it shifts around 6500 at full send and I only modify the primary 1 shift tables. They are the only tables that do anything for me.

Edit: thats 75 for the 2-3 upshift only! Not all of them!

6,500 is where is feels right and natural on the MT side. The Stock limiter was short and the motor was pulling too hard.

Did you raise your first gear any though? Or too low of a gear to really do much. I just changed to 75 as well for 2-3. So your 5-6 might be jacked, but doing primary only works just as well? I'm "over achieving" by doing all 7 primaries???

Yup I might tune up 1st gear later on but I'm pulling in 2nd more than I'm pulling in 1st so I didnt touch 1st, I left it stock. For the 5-6 upshifts it probably doesnt matter for the values at 100% pedal because they are at a speed your truck will never get to (like 200 MPH i believe). And yea I've just been sticking to the first primary tables and they are making all the changes I expect, no hiccups.

Well... vFTuner is the gift that keeps on giving :bananadance:

For anybody that wants to try my latest rendition:
04B04_Reg_Stock_THX_33 is once again the foundation.
Same throttle profiles as the "Combined favorite" but with shift points modifications.
Primary shift points 1 through 6 have been tweaked, as well as ECT shift points: 4-3 down shift lowered so not to hunt as much while towing heavier loads, and 4-5 up shift stretched out to 70MPH. I don't like towing in O.D.
I call this one: 04B04+S.P.G.+Tow.vft - (sharable in .zip format)

Smiles Per Gallon + Tow Mode
    Use responsibly..... :bikewheelie:

I feel the need to perform the equivalent task of renewing vows, but with my Tacoma.
I've fallen in love, all over again :yay:

Does anyone else have a very delayed start when opening vFtuner? Or does it just open?

It's so you don't make irrational decisions. Like a waiting period for a handgun... But for tuning.
