lift too heavy and you might blow your o-ring. I remember when I was first hired at this job, the boss and 2nd in command showed me a picture of the power lifter who did just that. The inside of his anus pushed out. That was not a pretty sight o_O

You should see the military’s system lol.

wife is a e4 currently so the military covers 70% of my dental bill. Once she ranks up to e5 then they only cover 60%. Wtf is that logic

I tore my ACL playing rugby and they took the graft from my hamstring; i focused my rehab on the knee and came back too soon. It was a sprint that tore it. Now I pull it if I hit the gas and it has a ton of trouble firing...essentially ended my bbing dream as it won’t develop at the same rate the uninjured one does.

Part of a particularly brutal couple years where I did my knee, hamstring and left ankle (two ruptured tendons there)

Fortunate to not have a serious lifting injury. Broke my hip in high school wrestling. Only other serious injury is my heel being peeled open because I’m a dumbass.

Sounds like you need to do some kegels. Some of the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard.

May your prison wallet be well

Preaching the the choir lol I had Tricare until I was 26 (my parents were Air Force).

I will be totally honest. I paid about $500 out of pocket for each of my previous surgeries on Tricare. Max out of pocket on Anthem family is $7,900. Not going to say that I loved paying that much for me knee, but I will say Anthem is about 1,000 times better than Tricare.

In 2010 I was coming back from a 6 week long trip in Africa. I was horribly sick on the flight back, went straight from the airport to the ER. Tricare didn't want to cover the bill later on because "it wasn't really an emergency" as I was only prescribed an anti-biotic. The only reason that was, was because the American doc didn't know how to determine what I had. So I got a script and a referral to an infectious disease specialist for the next day to rule out Malaria.

The cost absolutely sucks but I take private insurance over Tricare any day.

Wasn’t to bad. My hip flexor torn a chunk the size of a quarter off of the bone. Hurt like a bitch that day but basically just had to be on crutches till it reattached itself. Didn’t need surgery or nothing.
