Quick question re: installing an Icon 3 leaf AAL for those of you that left the overload leaf in. Did you just bend the retainer clips out on the stock overload so they fit around the AAL and stock pack? Does anybody have a picture they can share. Thanks!

Awesome, thanks. Looks like you did just bend the clip out a bit so it fits around, right?

I whacked the old one off. The aal I used has plenty of room for the factory overload if you want to leave it on.

Yes just bent it out a little and it fit perfectly
I didn’t want to cut off the original tab because I wanted to be able to reuse the emergency brake mount

I reattached the brake like mount to the same location using a zip tie. While out on the fire roads, however, the zip tie broke. I am thinking it may need the extra inch or so of free play with the aal so I cut the medal brake mount off completely.

Ok, my install is all done. I left the stock overload leaf in as I had planned, just bent the forward tab out so I could still use it for the parking brake cable mount. I'm hoping there are no issues with this. Here's a couple pics20200920_183009.jpg 20200920_183014.jpg
