I've Been working on a 3d printed center Console for the 2nd gen Tacoma. Lets just call it The Deluxe model. The current version has 3 carling switch pockets, a cb handset clip, a flashlight holder, a coin holder, a 4th gear lockout, 2 Baofeng Uv5r charging bays, a Ram ball mount, and a larger cup holder. So it's pretty much the perfect center console for me. I'd like to know what features others would like to have so that I can work on them as I have time.

Here is a picture of the previous prototype, The last one (hopefully) is printing right now and should be done this weekend.

Eventually. It will have to wait until I get a 3d scanner though. They aren't the star trek toys I wish they were, but they will drastically speed things up.

America! I don't think there is a problem with that, however I need physical posession of items to model them so that I can make sure they actually work and function. I'll ask a few of my buddy's if they have one. Could possibly add a few mag pockets as well...

And the question you SHOULD have been asking is could you put 4 switches and a front pivot point that opens up to a pocket underneath... and the answer is a 1911 didn't look like it'd fit so I gave up.

how about instead of firearm specific, make a faux "belt strap" or an attachment point to be used with general kydex holsters, making them more "universal"

    my 2 cents...

Instead of a holster for a specific firearm, may be more universal to just include a pocket with a simulated belt clip in the pocket, so that the buyer can add an appropriate holster for their own firearm.

Just a thought, looks like an interesting concept.

(Edit, someone beat me to it.)

    The real important question:

can the cup holder fit anything bigger than a soda can?

Although, I purchased a double big gulp the other day for R&D, not because it was 104, and I found out those cups are a tiny bit larger and a snug fit, but it did fit. Next one will be a bit larger I guess.

Can you explain the function of the cutout on the left side of the gate between 4-3? Haven’t had enough coffee yet to figure out in my mind how that works.

    thanks

I believe it's for some sort of lock out devise to prevent bumping the shifter down into the lower range of gears. I think its OP's preference on that and it could serve a purpose to certain drivers.

Edit: Obviously the piece that would install there isn't installed so you're just seeing the bracket. I'm guessing that it's hinged to flip down into the shifter channel but not fabricated yet.

ahhh...I wouldn’t want that option for my driving style.

I do like the product!!! If offered with user customization and color, I would buy one to get more functionality out of that space for often used items that reside in my center storage
