Nice Alu-Cab Canopy. How does it attach? Do they do anything other than the commonly found clamps?
    Are you happy with it?

The green on other trims is no different than every other year PRO when the following year the color becomes standard on other trims right? Or am I missing something. This shouldn't be a surprise. Toyota does this on the Tundra and Tacoma, but interestingly they haven't done this on the 4Runner until the upcoming 2021.

Hey I just picked up my AG Pro last monday! Also my first Tacoma and my first truck actually. The picture quality of the cameras is indeed a major fail in my opinion. If you are going to include a bunch of cameras for a 360 view, then you should should make the effort to make the image useable. I worked with screen resolutions for a living for 30 years, and I can tell you the LCD screen itself has great resolution. Look at the fonts and the maps in Apple Carplay and the resolution and antialiasing is as good as any other screen this size. Therefore it is the camera processor or the software that is at fault. I was given a Camry loaner car for a day, and the screen and interior of this Camry seemed to be of a much older design, but the backup camera was crystal clear. It even appeared to have a 60 fps refresh rate rather than a 30 fps. Toyota could have given us the same quality for our camera views. At least we have a 360 camera view though. While hard to see, it still comes in very handy when parking in tight spots.

I’m going to throw something out there that I will probably get hated on by some of you guys... I’ve been reading a lot about the spacer lifts and AAF and I know it’s a split decision between loving it and hating it..

I know the go to for those who love it is the Revtek 1.5 spacer and AAF in rear.. and running 285/75/16.. I already ordered my kit along with the 1.25” wheel spacers and trying to figure out if I would be able to push it and run 295/70/16 without rub? Couldn’t find much of anyone running 295.. is everyone just going for the standard 285 or is that the absolute cut off??

I probably will never get over my beloved M3 that I custom ordered in 2004, but I still have another rare BMW car and two BMW motorcycles. I'm certainly enjoying my AG Pro so far. Like most of us who found our way to the Army Green pro, I'm a gearhead and an automotive enthusiast, but this is my first truck, and it does take some getting used to. Yesterday I did a photoshoot of my truck, so I guess it's time for my debut here, but like everything I do, my photo post will have to compete with all the other activities of a dad with kids on a Covid sunday night.... So maybe some time tomorrow? I really enjoy this thread. Even though we all have the same truck, I never get tired of seeing new photos from others, because we all come from all walks of life and that is reflected in the mods and the environments. I hope that others find my pics of the same green truck interesting!

Not a surprise at all - we all knew it was likely. Doesn’t bother me at all, and I suspect most others. Plus, it’s a Tacoma, not a Ferrari - since I got mine, can’t hardly turn a corner without seeing one. I have not seen any other AG Tacos in my area tho (Jax, FL), and no AG Tundras or Sequioas. Seen 2 AG 4Rs. Expect to see a bunch more in the next year - I think a lot who liked it held off bc they didn’t want to pay Pro price for it, and they also knew it would come in other trims in MY21. Personally, glad I got my 20 Pro - love everything about it.

Got some traction boards, mounted on @supralee simple mount. Works perfect and they don’t seem to budge at all:thumbsup:

I’ve been for years wishing for Tacoma’s to come out in green (to replace my 99 forest green Dakota), and when the Pro’s came out in 2020 it was a wish come true. Only dealbreaker was the short bed, so I waited all year specifically for the MY21 to come out. If the 21’s didn’t have AG offered, it’d have been a toss up between the pro and a DCLB in cement. Placed an order for the AG TRD OR DCLB the other week. :bananadance:

Been texting here for a while, as I ordered my AG Pro back in March. Took over 5 months to finally get it, and I've had it for a week now. This is my very first truck, and I'm really enjoying it. I am a research-aholic, and I like to spend countless hours choosing my purchases with great care. I'm quite sure the rest of you are the same. You don't just stumble into an Army Green TRD Pro! I already new I wanted a truck, and since I had to sell my cherished BMW M3 of 16 years in order to get a truck, I wanted something that was just as unique that will keep me looking back at it as I walk away. So far, so good.

I really enjoy automotive photography. Maybe one day I'll do a shoot on a real offroad trail, but for now, what I had available in my neighborhood was a golf course.... I even got yelled at for parking on the grass for a few shots! I'm BADASS.

First though, here is the car that I "traded" to get my Pro:

This Tacoma is my work truck, so here is a shot to show the paintless dent repair tools that I carry around in the back:

Well, that's it for now. Next time I'll find a setting with more offroad atmosphere!

I’ll bet your Pro will never have a door ding for long. Fix it on the spot!

AG will be a very popular color for 2021 Tacoma’s. I love how it subtly changes depending on the lighting. My brother has a 2020 AG Pro and loves it!

Even though I can fix my dings, I still hate getting them! I ahven't been doing this for too long, so every ding is a new challenge. You'll still see me park in the last spot in parking lots.

That is one thing that annoys me about the Pro colors. BMW does it right- My model M3 I had came in two optional flagship colors- that yellow I had, and a bright cyan blue similar to voodoo blue. No other BMW model or trim level would therefore ever be allowed to come in that color!

Next year we will indeed see Army Green Tacos everywhere... Which is why I ordered the TRD Pro decals for mine. (Aftermarket, for around $100, but they are a bitch and a half to put on) That way, at least my AG Pro will stand out a little more from the sea of green Tacos next year. Even though all those other trim lines will soon be sporting our TRD Pro grills!

    Great pictures!!

I love that color M3 - got to pound one around the BMW Performance Center driving school track back in 2001.

    P0001865.jpg

I had a 2000 328Ci that I special ordered in Orient Blue - one of the great things about BMW is you could special order colors. Orient Blue was not a standard color for the Coupes that year.

    Coupe1.jpg

I sold the Coupe when I retired from the Army and we moved back to PA. But, I still have my '96 Z3 that I bought new.

And, now the Tacoma is my daily driver. And, of course, a retired Army officer needs an Army Green truck!

    @Devious6

Thanks, and nice photo of you in the Phoenix Yellow M3!

I still have our Estoril Blue M-Sport Wagon with a red interior (Superman colors), and my good friend lets me drive his M Roadster whenever I want, which helps a lot when I miss my M3:

But switching topics to your army connection, you reminded me that when I was little, my father acquired one of those surplus Willys Jeeps from WW2 that they sold to the public after the war. It lived outside behind my grandfather's barn, and it never had plates on it so we could only drive it on my grandfather's 27 acres of land. It had no working brakes! My dad would push in the clutch and then if he had to, throw a block of wood out ties to a rope so it would catch under the back wheel... I learned to drive a manual when I was 8 years old on that thing... I'm going to have to dig up and old black and white photo of it now and scan it in...

I’d love to see a picture of that Jeep. We still had the M151 versions in the Army when I first commissioned in the late 70s. I hated to see them go.

Got my bed rack installed. Wish I had the RTT to throw on top but it’s so pricey.

Good news for those of us who plan on adding a slight lift, and do not want to go down the spacer route.
I plan on ordering this eibach spring upgrade + Icon AAL in the rear. That should hopefully take care of all the weight I continually find ways to add to my truck.

and yes, my neighbor's boat on trailer in his downhill sloped driveway, aimed straight for my truck does scare the bejesus out of me.

The day has final came and it only took me over 12 months to get this beast. Long story short the dealership ran into a ton of issues with allocations and then COVID hit. All I know is I am beyond blessed and excited with my first ever brand new vehicle.

My first 2 mods were easy ones.
    1.Tactilian Car Flag Magnet
    2. 265/75/16 KO2. Dealership allowed me to trade in my stock tires.

Today I am installing Diode Dynamics Ditch lights, Fog lights, and Bumper Light bar, APS Truck Armor Aluminum Truck Steps, Bed Lights, and Tailgate Lock.
I can not wait to share my journey with you all.
