I wouldn’t mind getting it if it’s needed. Just with the current constrictions with covid, just a pain to do any thing that does not need to be done.
I’ll keep looking for an answer, I’m sure someone posted somewhere here, just gotta find it lol.
I did want 17s but saving 50 or so per wheel is really tempting. Some of that will be spent since the tires are more expensive in 16s than 17s...

16’s are great for more tire but 17’s allow you to do the tundra break mod

Allows you to run Tundra disc brakes. It's reported to provide more stopping power on downhill runs.

Great choice. I bet you won't regret that decision Eric. I've never heard anyone unhappy with buying their blems.

Well you're Billy BadAss. No way are larger brakes and rotors gonna give you a hard time! I know I wouldn't.

Yo! I did now. 9 and what inches high? What are you smokin' up there re Dad?

Actually, I ordered this today (cost another $15 to ship it, so now I am in for $60):

    upload_2020-9-18_18-16-55.jpg

I will measure and cut off a section of the 2" square tube I bought, which should be half the section width of the tire minus the plate and wheel center offset, so that when I attach the wheel the top and bottom of the tire is pressed against the vertical support. I'm thinking this will make it a little more stable. I may even try to weld on some bolts to the back of the tube to mount the highlift jack if there is room between the tire support and the back of the truck. Then I want to look at shims for inside the receiver to eliminate as much side to side wobble as possible. If I have to, I will bolt the flip up hinge part inside to the receiver and crank down on the bolts.

I was already looking at tire covers. Deb and I like this one

lol thanks and I’ve not ready anyone being unhappy either. I went ahead and ordered the set of blems. I’ll still be happy with the 16s over the 17s lol. Those wheels will look great.

Costco is too far, and Sam's Club is just Walmart without furry bedroom slippers.

BJ's is the sweet spot. It's even better since they took out the food confections and switched to healthier sample stations.

So what you're saying is, we could hang out in the depends & geritol sections? This is exciting! Basically you could show me around, and get me the hook up on a jazzy shopping scooter, and then introduce me to all your retired tasty treat sample ladies!

    Hell yeah, I'm in!

Hey MD - I think I posted in the broader Northeast forum instead of the Maryland one, so trying here...

I love the lil Bs hybrid bumper and similar one from mobtown... but are they legal for street use in Maryland? Couldn’t find a clear answer about it in MD law.

I did see a post in here from 2015 about someone getting pulled over for a bumper but not much info about it. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Costco “Old People Shopping Hour” is 9:00-10:00 AM daily (YMMV). Costco is a mixed group. Not as friendly as the “Retired Group”. Before Covid the local chapter of the “Retired Group” would get together for the morning commute and drive around slow and aimlessly and then go to Mickey D’s for breakfast.
