I just got back from a late night cruise after fine tuning the shift points for my truck. I'm honestly just as happy, if not happier, than when I drove it off the showroom floor! Thanks @OVTune for the great product!

New to all of this. I’ve seen people posting files of their own and I’m not sure if I should try those or just use the recommended files?

Many are happy with the OV Tune files as they are.
It could depend on what ECU ID that you have or
Even what type of battery that you have.

Is there any easy way to apply these fantastic changes to a tune for a different ECU? I’m having trouble following all this even though I re-read it every day

Would be nice if you could open files from other ECU Id's but only flash what your registered for.

Right that also lets you flash more ID's also. I'm just saying the ability to open without flashing.

Yes, you need to buy credits to open more ID's.

You could also pay someone for a map(s) with the edits you're looking for

What's the verdict with throttle limit adjustments? Are these just being done on the first gear tables?

I didn't want to try. even the "header values" are all skewed. I just canned that map and changed the primary "0" tables only. Instead of all 7 primary tables. Did exactly as I wanted it to. Gotta have a work around plan

I entered100 for all rpm ranges on 1st and 4hi tables. If you go back a few pages I did a data log that shows full pedal full throttle opening.

I can give you a broad instructional of what I did if you'd like. I'm thinking you'll have to fine tune for your specific rig still. My end results really aren't that difficult to explain, it's just all the d*cking around I had to do to be able understand why I ended up doing what I did that took time.
