Edited the title of the thread, I enjoy seeing everyone else's projects and what they do as much as making things myself. Please, share with us :D

Here’s a prime example of the world that built a better idiot.
I made this rivet on Star plate which is attached over some holes in the bulkhead of an air conditioning unit. The purpose of it is to hold the hex of a refrigerant line fitting so the outside nut can be attached without tools.
If you notice, the star sizes are slightly different sizes, and the corresponding thru hold are slightly different. In order to help the installers rivet this plate on in the right orientation, I made one of the 3 rivet hold slightly off center, so it would be obvious if you were trying to install it wrong.
I just received this photo from our customer saying that the whole order is like this...:frusty::censored::argue:

Not at all, to make things worse, there are 50 of them, and they are already powdercoated.

You wouldn’t happen to be the guy that installed the hex plates on my product a few posts back, would you?

I shall find out when we pick them up from the customer. I’m assuming it wasn’t easy, whatever they did. Which would normally raise question to if it was being done right.
It never ceases to amaze me.

Hope everyone is enjoying the start of their weekend!

You guys get to make all kinds of cool shit at work while my end results are usually days (or like one of my last projects, weeks instead of days) worth of work compiled down to a floor plan for some renovation we're planning or an Excel file from crunching a ton of data. Or, like last week, I had 8 desktops, 21 laptops and an iPad dropped off at my desk that need to be set up.
