I have rakattach with Thule T2 and it works fine just looking for a better option that doesn't have the wheels sticking out into the airstream on both sides of the truck. Damn long wheel base 29er.

Went up to flag and rode up there cause it's 80°

I also order 50 mm riser bars compared to my 30 mm risers I have now. Hoping it makes the ride a bit more easy on the shoulders. They're gold as well, sexy! :p

Good to know. Really wanted the OneUp Aluminum (orange) set since it's not a super bright orange, but not sure if I want to drop $120 on them. May just grab a black pair of something like the Chesters. Selling my red pair today.

Yea, my rallon sticks out the sides a bit as well. The vertical designs look nice for a few reasons, but ultimately I don't love how they hold the bike in place. Also, my wife has tried a few and struggles to get her bike up there, so that's a no-go.

I’m running chesters too. Just today I bought a pair of Crank brothers stamp 7 large. I was very please with my previous crank brothers pedals. Got lucky and Amazon had a damaged package so I got them at a good price.

Dropper levers....Planning on a OneUp 150 at this point. Doesn’t look like I can get anything longer in my frame. Lever options are OneUp lever, PNW Loam, and Wolf Tooth. Anyone have experience with these good or bad? OneUp is the cheapest and easiest to add in the same order.

Also I was hoping to get a bigger drop. Is it worth swapping from a 125 to 150?

I'll work. Main concern is covering the license plate with the full size pad. Evoc makes the Duo which is half size, fits 2 bikes. Unsure how much of the license plate I'll cover.

I went from 125 to 180 on different bikes but that was super noticeable. Going up to 150 definitely won’t hurt.

lever wise, the feel of the one up lever is eh, quality is good though. I don’t have much to compare to other than reverb and the old KS button thing though.

Wolf tooth is noticeably better than OneUp. I just made that switch and it's actually shocking how much better the wolf tooth is. Never tried pnw

Wolf tooth here. I enjoy it. Super short stroke. Very responsive. Never had any issues in 2 years with it. I also like that it mates to my shimano brakes so I don’t have an extra clamp on my bar.

If I had one complaint about the Oneup v2 dropper setup it would be the lever. It feels like it takes a lot to get the post down. If the wolf tooth or loam from pnw have a shorter throw I may give those a go. Haven’t heard much on the shimano one.

Wolf Tooth has the original and the Light Action version that reduces the necessary lever force by a third. Is the OneUp stiff to actuate? No clue which lever would be the better choice.
Those with the OneUp lever...I assume the V2 of the lever?

Love my PNW Loam lever. The little cushion is nice as well as the action. I've had KS, OneUp levers and love the loam. I've swapped it onto a couple bikes now.
I'd say it's worth it to get a bigger drop if you can fit it. I've got a 150 and was hoping I could fit a bit longer to get the seat further out of the way when descending but looking at all the measurements it doesn't look like I can.

I’m still a novice to the dropper game. I’ve got experience with several brand lever/droppers (KS/Bontrager/Reverb/OneUp) but honestly I don’t use them as much as others. I don’t come from a bmx background so I actually don’t like the feel of nothingness beneath me.

Rambling aside, the OneUp lever isn’t stiff, it just feels like a long throw before it actuates. This could very well be piss poor setup on my part. I ask my LBS to see if they could shorten it up for me. They tweaked it some but it’s still too long for my liking. Almost feel like I’m having to rotate my wrist way under the bar to get the saddle down, which doesn’t seem right. A new lever may not be necessary at all. I have no clue. It’s probably just something else I’m telling myself I need to be a better rider :notsure:
