It may weld through it, but you run the risk of contamination in the weld, weakening it. Cleaner is better.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

We've had to basically realize, we can't do everything on this trip. Our main reason for this trip is to see our kid. By the time we were there... we just wanted to take shortest route to him.

Camped with the kid last night. At 9060 feet, it was another first for us. Highest elevation we've camped.

Ormes Peak out side of Colorado Springs.

For a split seconded I thought you just gave up a huge family secret, but then I remembered he no longer owns the gray truck.

Took my truck to visit a cypress swamp this morning. This is Hovey Lake State Park in Southern Indiana. It is the Northern most cypress swamp in the US. The Ohio River provides water.
It's great paddling at sunrise. The birds go crazy. It was windy and cool(winddchill about 38F), but still good stuff.

Bled my brakes today, and not a moment too soon. Looked like used oil was coming out until I got the master low enough to fill with fresh fluid. Nice and clear now and better a brake response across the board. Need to get my stainless lines on, but I was too lazy to knock that out today. Give it a few weeks till it stays below 100 for good then I'll tackle that...
