I accidentally dropped the jumper cables as I was started someone's vehicle and they touched and sparked and now my screen went out. I know, what an amatuer move. Checked and replaced ALL the fuses and they're good to go but it still doesn't turn on. What else do I need to check to see what's wrong?? Its a 2017 tacoma 4x2, 4 cylinder.

I would take it in to the dealer if you still have a warranty it may only need to be rebooted

That's a pretty shitty format post.

I'm clearly of no assistance but good luck getting it sorted, @Bsaints17. And welcome to TW. :hattip:

Did you get the big fuses in the engine bay? Some of them are over 100 amps.

Also look into something like a NOCO lithium battery jumper. It has accident protection.

Without the 10A ECU-B No.3 (engine room fuse box) many things do not happen.

Check fuses as mentioned. But this makes me wonder, do Tacomas have any fusable links in the wiring harness?

I wouldn't mention the jump start to the dealer.

Get the Audew 2000 and you won't have that happen again.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Push and hold the left knob on the radio. It will make it do a hard reboot. Worth a try.

    I thought the same!

Someone once reversed the battery cables on my '85 Supra, blowing a fusible link.

@Bsaints17 , does everything besides the radio work?
