If you're going to leave the existing 1/2" I would just add 19/32" on top of it, and if possible run those sheets perpendicular to what is already down, that would give you a solider base.

I'll take dog piss all day over cat piss. That was my subfloor challenge before putting down underlayment and LVP.

 

Yeeppppp. Same shit happened with mine. Replaced some of the sheets that were bad and then feathered in thin sheets of plywood to build up the low spots and belt sanded out the high spots.

 

Anyone have pro-tips on where to find a new Rav4 Prime? Not the normal hybrid, but the plug-in hybrid...
Stapp Interstate showed one in stock but when I called, it had sold and there are 23 people on a list there.

 

My understanding is Toyota is only making 5000 this year so if you weren't already on a list its not happening.

Yeah seems to be a common trend, stealerships order a few themselves and marking them up excessively. For a new car I'll probably just order directly through the manufacturer.
