In my opinion, it's a difference between night and day. Looks so much better. @no vtec 4me did an extremely good job.

I can't tell if cement color-matched headlights would look weird or amazing but I'm tempted... someone else do it first!!

yeah. this is probably the cleanest way to go. we dont need all these million icecube projectors in the assembly. just give us clean, simple, with updated technology. win-win.

Does anyone know if the 2020 headlights will work/fit with a 2017 OR?

 

Yes they will fit all 3rd gens but you will need an adapter harness! I will link that when I get to my laptop

Not only is this the cleanest way to go but from what I've learned OEM housing quality is always the best, Kevin would know more about that than me though.

The other thing about these 2020 LEDs is the performance seems to be great, check out crashnburn80s review on these:

These look great! Did you need to add any LEDs for the side markers to light up like that? Are you using the Klearz 5% tint ones? They look like they have reflectors built in? Also, for OP, what exactly is the inner bezel? I'm assuming most people will do this mod to get rid of the chrome strip?

No need to add/change any LED’s. This is all stock as far as that goes. They are klearz 5%. I guess they’re “reflective”, but don’t have any amber in them obviously.

The inner bezel is the grey area that separates the low and high beam. It’s a dark grey stock, but could be painted as well to match the rest of the light.

Just finished up another set of these lights. Same configuration as the first, but also painted the inner bezel Gloss black. (the divider piece between the low and high beam). I think it’s a nice touch, and only adds $25 to the price. Will be doing some more shortly to show the difference between the different side markers I have available.
