when I read this, it means there's either money burning a hole in his pocket, or he's one of those guys that can't stand still, always moving. and there's nothing wrong with either one

went wheeling with a couple of friends last night. just an all around good time, almost got my buddy's stock tundra stuck once or twice and may or may not have punctured one of his tires:D. I keep telling him that he should throw a lift and some 35s on it but he still won't listen to me. also found a guy in a second gen that had managed to get himself stuck so we helped him out with the recovery. later that night me and one of those buddies went up in a different truck and went further up one of those roads and found a spot that overlooks town which was pretty cool. oh yeah, and we kind of broke my other friend's canopy too:rolleyes:. all in all a fun day though.

managed to fit a 9500lb winch in the bumper without cutting my grill. solenoid box had to be relocated. fresh coat of bed liner went a long way too

A way overdue leaf spring replacement. 100k ago I put some Icon coilovers and rear shocks on but had decision paralysis on what leaf pack to get. Fast forward to today and I finally installed some Deaver J59s and some Duro Bumpstops.

It's amazing how much better the ride is.

I’ve got a similar bumper and winch and can’t reach it.

Yeah, for sure. But after a long day of rusty bolts you don’t give a $hit. Lol.

After how things seem to match fairly decent (And considering that this will most likely be dirty most fo the time) I elected to move things forward and put two coats of clear coat on the bed and tailgate today. I see now I missed drilling a hole for the fender flare, so will will need to drill that but overall not bad for my first attempt at bodywork, I'll call the spots that aren't perfect just part of my 'learning experience'

Will be interesting to see how 'off' things are out in the sun.

oh and I ordered a new tailgate latch, the old one is stuck in the old tailgate. . .
