    It's DLX son!
Sounds like they're somewhere in the 120-130 range.

I spoke to Phil on 9/18/20. He explained that they lost a few months due to a supplier issue, but are getting some new vendors up to speed. It doesn't sound like everything is 100% in place, but going forward, they are targeting an output of about 10 Drifters per month. He gave me an estimate of January 2021 for order #185. I was cautioned that not every order is done online so you can't rely on the numbers we see on the spreadsheet.

Does he mean not every order # is a Drifter or Nomad? Something like Bajajoseph’s baseplate for instance?

I'm guessing he means some people could place an order in person or over the phone. The order number you receive when you placed your order on the website only accounts for orders placed via the website.

Makes sense but I am not sure about the order 185 by January if that is true. Sure hope it is and not saying you are wrong @DavidS.

I just hope people are calm and understanding with timelines. In the end this is just a really cool toy that people are pouring their lives into.

All the above and more... The point is that the order numbering system isn't as straight forward as we might imagine.

Also keep in mind, there are customers that are ordering more than just a Drifter. Some customers just order Goose Gear, or Awnings, or Total Chaos suspension components or a myriad of other items that they are a supplying vendor for. I know I’ve purchased many things through VO other than the Drifter.

The FOMO of selling my Drifter earlier this year and not getting to some of my “Usual” places is real... I eagerly look forward to my Nomad.

.. This made my day! I don’t know why I’ve never thought of non-Drifter/Nomad orders. I always figured they were all camper orders. Really good to know!

I spent some time at the shop this week picking up some parts. There were a bunch of Drifters and a Nomad in production.

You can kinda see it behind me, but I made my own 10" bed extension from 3/4 tube and 1/4 plywood. Its actually nice being able to remove and set this piece aside. I'm 6' 2" and also pull the mattress away from the wedge for a little more toe room.

Does anyone have the Angled Flush Mount Squadron Lights?

Wanted to have one mounted on the rear of the Drifter to light up my kitchen area, but unsure if it's angled down enough or if the light would project out too far.

I've seen pics of them mounted on the back, but not lit - thoughts?

I have two, they're bright AF. If I redid them, I'd just get one. They're just right to light up cooking and just a little out where people might be sitting, etc

Do they get blocked when the rear window is open? Are you cooking on the tailgate or on the swing-out or elsewhere?
