Mine didn't leak until just a couple months ago. 30 seconds with some clear silicone, and it hasn't leaked again.

^^That's the way I'd be fixing it unless it was on the dealer's dime, and even then I'd be nervous about anyone dropping my headliner

Do your due diligence awhile ago a guy had his kids in the back, didnt know it was leaking, and had a mold problem and had to yank out pretty much everything in the back plus headliner

Exactly what I did. Used 3M Marine Grade sealant(commonly used to seal thru hull items like fish finder sensors on boats). Haven't had a drop of water inside since.

If it was like most trucks where you can access the screws for the light from the exterior- I would of opted to changed the gasket, but I'm not getting into dropping the headliner etc.

Also pretty common knowledge that if you are in good standing with your dealer many times they are willing to look past you being slightly out of warranty and still fix it.

What is causing the leak? Bad gasket?

If they still want you to pay for it and you don't want to, just run a bead of silicone around it. No one will notice if it is done right and it'll stop the leak.

Does this apply to the 2020 or just the 16-18 like the TSB states?

I think you should go back and re-read what everyone else here suggested, being *slightly* out of warranty gets you the green light, not 122k. Unless of course you want to shell out for some unlimited type warranty for $3500

All 9 of my cars i've owned, mostly different manufacturers, i've been able to get some sort of post warranty work done covered charge or at least a significant discount. Just have to be respectful and not come in guns blazing with entitlement.
