I'd like to know who put those big ass lugs in those tiny holes should of gone with a splined lug to begin with so that way the socket is a lot smaller and like no chance unless you are a complete fool at scratching the wheel like that. I hate when places put lugs that almost fill the lug hole and the socket surely does thus making sure the lug holes get chewed up. That sucks that neither one will do anything other than scape goat out of it.

I need one of those extenders to carry mine. May have to modify it because I have the decked drawers. She looks really good you're going to really get some use out of it. The more I see the outbacks the more I like them over the PA

Just watched a video of Hurricane Creek. Uploaded end of july, recorded some time over the summer i assume. But man it looks chewed up. If you compare the recent videos to ones a few years ago you can see a drastic difference.

If this keeps up i dont see the land owners dealing with it much longer. Pretty sad really.

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.

I heard it was much worse. Washing out is mostly what I heard over abuse etc.

As much as i hate to say it..its probably only a matter of time. I doubt ill ever get up there. After watching the video...i have no desire for the kind of stuff, especially not 3 hours away.

@Bannerman and I ran Richland Rd and got hassled at the end of the trail. After calling both counties and mapping it all out with GIS, it is PRIVATE so we were probably the last group to make an “official” run through there. Believe the land owners gated it off now.

Yea...unfortunately its just another Richland rd situation. It sucks for sure and if i gave my honest opinion..it probably would not be received well by the majority of this forum. Enjoy what you can now.

It’s the idiots (Jeepers) who turn to turn an “overland” trail into a “black diamond, you need tons and 40’s to pass, trail”

they purposely make ruts to make it more difficult, go off trail onto private property, and ruin it for everyone else just trying to gently pass through with their mostly stock 4x4 truck.

And the jackasses in SxS’s who think they need to blast through at 50mph. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had one on my ass at URE, and beer in hand.

Reading my damn mind. I look at it as anyone who feels the need to turn a dirt track into "king of the hammers". Jeeps, yotas, full sizes, sxs..idgaf. Fuck it..im gonna say, Fucking youtube. Nothing but bad press and cinematic evidence of just how it gets damaged and to what degree the damage is.

Pushing the envelope to get hits and prove just how hard core of an Overlander you are.

The whole deal pisses me off.

I don’t know about abuse here other than I’m sure some idiots like to sling mud but there has been zero maintenance done in there since I went through years ago. Hundreds of vehicles through even without abuse and things degrade. I believe that is FS so they will just gate it after the houses and that will be that I suppose.

First off I am super sorry this happened to ya - -

If you didn't trust Rimz One - due to the prior UCA mess, why did you go back?
If that had happened to me - that would be it for using them - -
However, if the dude that did it, came out and said - not good - i dobut he did it. . . if he did it, he wouldn't have been so direct - - usually they try to just blame someone else..

EVERY time I take a vehicle in for service - I watch it like a hawk...
discount tire usually just thinks i am a tad crazy but I have seen enough fucked up/half assed shit, to not take the chance
I usually just ask/walk back and chill by my car/truck - or stay at the rear of the bay..
I have one mechanic that I trust, he is amazing, is like a surgeon - so perfect, never has customers come back with a faulty repair..
    [Frank @ Cary Automotive]
But other than that - I am watching them. . . like a hawk

ALSO - I ALWAYS ASK TO SEE THE OLD PARTS no matter what - oil filter even - and I usually inspect them to make sure there was no uneven wear. Asking to see the old parts [sometimes I keep em - they are mine anyway.. ] helps keep them honest.. and shows you aren't messing around.

The cheap often comes out expensive - - Judge Milian [The People's Court]
