Seat covers are Smittybuilt oddly enough. I love them. Rough and all purpose made. Tons of storage bags. A little pricey for me but had to get them. This ain't a Mercedes. It's a truck and I ride it hard....lmao. I drive with my hand on the passenger seat a lot so it's a natural reach for me. I don't like a weapon up front. Not much room anyhow. I can pull this on the way out the door and holster it on me in one easy roll....(then I trip, fall out the truck into the Walmart trashcan I always park beside, and shoot myself in the leg) hahahahahhhahha

Thanks, I'll look around and see if I can find it. I like my seat covers I have, but the ALICE system over the top is a great idea. Thanks again.

I like the mounting spot.. but my kid's car seat would be in the way.... I'll mount it to the car seat, it will be so unsuspecting. Hang on let me tend to my child....

Off topic, but the camp grill I made turned out perfect. Love it and don't need to use the park crap.

Took me about an hour and $30 in materials to make this quick detachable awning that clamps right on to my Yakima bars.
Less than 5 minutes to set up. Very simple, lightweight and it's 8x10.
The bar stays clamped on if I want it to. Just hook the grommets, place the poles and guy line them out.
    Simple....easy......cheap.......effective and stores away easily.

This looks close, think I'm going to pull the trigger (no pun) on this one.

Where is the best place to get the front bed rail and whatever hardware necessary to mount?

    Too much.
Finished up the new amp rack. Waiting on a few things before it all gets connected and tuned.

I just installed mine a few days ago and I can see why you think it would ruin the paint with the wind deflector sitting so close to the roof. But with the noise trim add-on (that I highly recommend) it actually protects your roof from the hard edges of the wind deflector. On the entire back side of the noise trim it has a big soft rubber edge. If you have the wind deflector sitting at the lowest point, the rubber edge would be touching the roof not the metal from the deflector. I do agree it should be a permanent piece to the rack though. Just squeezing a few bucks out of you
