Joking aside, if you do end up trading or selling the bike let me know. I would make an offer on the exhaust.

Took the bike out for it's maiden rip.

I have learned that the area I am closest to has 3 different types of terrain on the trails. Hard pack sand, intermediate sand with whoops, and straight beach sand. The hard pack is obviously awesome for ripping. The whoops are exhausting but at least I still have confidence in the steering. The soft stuff is downright scary. Didn't have time to air down, gotta try it next time.

Took the streetbike out yesterday then went to my brothers house. Then took the wr450 out and rode with a couple of friends. Was a great sunday.

So I found a local European bike repair shop in Boise (no Ducati dealers here) and they quickly found the problem on my Multistrada. There's a molex connector that feeds power off the battery to the ECU. One of the wires coming off the molex pin, snapped off. Ducati knows about the problem, but is too cheap to do a recall. Apparently, the seat puts pressure on the connector wires and they have a kit to lower it so the seat doesn't put pressure on it anymore. Hoping to be back on the road in the next couple days.

recalls are safety issues. thatd be a tsb issue.

recalls are pretty rare in the moto industry

Recalls are rare in the moto industry? I hope you're joking and don't actually believe this. Having spent 16 years working part time at a HD/Buell/Triumph dealership I can assure they're anything BUT rare. They're actually very common.

Has anyone used an led H4 bulb before in place of a factory halogen? I'm not very impressed on the light output on my regular halogen bulb.

Not those specifically, but a very similar one from a different brand. I couldn't use them with my helmet, they still stick out too far out of the ear and would fall out when I put it on. I use them at work during concerts and loud shows, and they sound great. They're super flat and just quieter, but not muffled like a foam plug.

Edit: I grabbed mine and looked at them, mine have a significantly longer center section:

So ignore my comment lol the eargasms might fit a helmet fine.

Bummer. I need something for the wind noise in my dirt bike helmet. I ran foamies in my old street helmet but always hated them.
