Yea it's pretty nice so far. Not a fan of Charlotte, but I'm like an hour north and have no real reason to ever go there except for the airport or a concert. I just got lost on some mountain roads and almost burnt up the brakes on the avalon! So loving it!! (That was serious)
I chose Illinois over california, had a job offer in sacramento and turned it down on the phone without even hearing what it paid.

Illinois can burn after I sell my house and get the tacoma out of there. Northern indiana can go up with it, fuck I hate that whole area. From Lafayette north can fucking burn.

@Kwikvette took my magnum primed .303 loads to the range.

First one went off fine, extracted it and...
    IMG_20200920_141834661.jpg
Dang near case head separation. No over pressure signs shown by the primer though so the magnum primers arent the issue. Did some quick research and apparently this isnt uncommon at all with S&B .303 brass on the first reload, guess its just brittle brass or something. Had maybe 2 more that had a distinct line across the base after firing. This brass is going in the scrap bucket, people on other forums say to use PPU brass instead which I have plenty of.

Anyways, my max load of 39.5gr of IMR 4064 over a Federal 215 LRM primer and a 174gr Sierra MK is gonna be the ticket. Heres 5 at 100 yards. Speed is at 2360 fps so its good to go.

    Well there ya go...
LOL!! I dont have the skills to downshift a column shifter avalon without accidently jamming it into park or reverse  I'll come back to dominate with the paddle shifter equipped 2015 camry XSE in a few weeks LOL!!

There is a 90% chance I'll put my overloaded tacoma into the wall on I-40 between Lexington and Asheville, nothing but crazy sharp curves back and forth.

That stretch of 40 between Knoxville and Asheville is imo the most dangerous stretch of interstate on the east coast.

Yea it was crazy going through there at 10pm for the first time ever.

It makes I-24 dropping down into Chattanooga in TN look like a small dirt pile. That was my previous benchmark for crazy east coast mountain stretch of interstate.
