Love the concept of these bed stiffeners - but do they have to be so god damned ugly?

nothing yet, just tacked on the all weathertech mats and using the free factory cover on the back of it
Adding the soft top was a b1tch... Pain but it's on... Safety first for the 4 legged friend

Lol. I think these ones are not so bad but I agree if I could forgo not adding it then would be great. Will be picking up an RTT tomorrow and just don't want to risk destroying the bed.

I saw these hand grips for the rear passengers. So bought a pair. Parachute cord. Works to help others get into the back seats and adds a splash of color too.

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
That is bright. I would not get "spousal approval" on that.

Added Tacoma Lifestyle smoked sequential turn signals. I am very pleased with how they look. I wish they synced better with the OEM LED sequential turn signals, but that's minor. The smoked color is really nice. My wife accidentally ordered me the blackout version first and when I tested them thye looked like an amber squiggly line and I hated them. I swapped them out for the smoked version and they're exactly what I wanted.

I also swapped out my tire valve stem caps from black plastic to chrome plated. When my snow tires were mounted the tire shop used chrome covers instead of black plastic. I swapped my black plastic off my TRD beadlocks to the chrome to match the silver TPMS stem. Minor and silly, but why not. I am counting down the days until they get stolen like the last two times I had chrome valve stem caps on a car.

that’s the one issue with mine that I am not happy with. I thought they would sync perfectly with the LED headlight turn signals but instead they are on different patterns

Inspired by two other members here:

    Project #1 - Complete:
I heard painting your recovery points gives you extra buff horses. So I plastidipped mine red.

This also coincidentally color matches to Simba: black and tan truck with red recovery points to a black and tan dog with red rockets.

    Project #2 - In progress
I've removed the back seats and made room for their clean storage.

Took no more than 30 minutes so I can put back if I expect to need them long-term. I didn't own any power tools what so ever a month ago, so I'm waiting for my shiny new Dewalt tools to come in. When they do, I'll hit up the hardware store to buy some plywood, 2x4's, memory foam, and cloth, which I'll use to cobble together a level platform for Simba. I'll likely keep the plywood bed not permanently attached to the leveling 2x4 beams so that I have a small amount of additional storage under the platform that I can get to by just removing his bed.

Projects I'm contemplating as time allows:
Project #3 - Plastidipping my chrome bumper and emblems (Toyota, Tacoma, and V6) Desert Tan Camo.
Project #4 - Plastidipping the skid plate Desert Tan Camo
Project #5 - Plastidipping (when it comes in) my Dissent Offroad Bed/Roof Rack Desert Tan Camo.

I'm going to do the emblems first, and see how I like the color first.

    PLASTIDIP ALL THE THINGS!

Anyone got a video of both the side turn signal mirrors and the headlights running?
