Skip class and hang out in the truck and wait till they come around. if your front windows are not tinted sit on the back seat. Then when they come around it, get out and beat them down. Or follow them home, so you know where they live.

I guess the moral of the story is, don't be a prick to someone who did nothing wrong to your truck, because something bad will proabbly happen now.

I'm the same way as you, i always look around my truck for damage whenever i park it, but i would never be a douchbag to someone that did no damage to my truck, if if they did park close. I'd be worried your truck would get keyed. Especially at a small college.

Yeah...Seems like you didn't really help the situation by telling him off
I see where you are coming from- but for something that didn't cause any damage a simple "Hey man- Can you be a little more careful next time" mighta sufficed to get your point across and not start a little spat.

Before this- If he damaged your car- That's what insurance is for. Now- I would let security on campus know so there is an offical report- in case something does happen- It is documented. And it's still what insurance is for...but just cause you have insurance doesn't mean you shouldn't do anything.

Oh you wouldn't dare be a "prick" or a "douchebag" to those guys but yet you didn't hesitate to call the OP a "prick" and a "douchebag" here. Nice. When somebody puts their vehicle right up against another vehicle to the point where it actually touches-I call that being a "prick" and a "douchebag"-and someone who was showing off to their buddies by putting his shit car up against this nice truck as an affront. It's called jealousy. I had the same thing happen to me at the grocery store where you park nose to nose. I come out to find a big fugly Suburban with 22s over the line and 3' into my spot with his plate frame digging the paint off my bullbar. I went back into the store with the description and had the manager call it out over the PA. Here comes this big, dopey lowrider gansta dude in a long leather coat and chains. Funny how he immediately made eye contact with me and me only as he approached, which tells me he knew through my angry face that he fukked up. I asked him was that his suburban and he said yes. I took him outside and asked him why he thought it was necessary to park so far over the line and right up on my truck. He says "yeah but I didnt hit you did I??" So I showed him how his plate frame was sitting on my bar and he goes "yeah but it didn't do anything did it?" So I showed him the scratch and proceeded to tell him what a shitty stupid stronz he was in front of all these folks out there and told him I will be nice and fix the scratch myself to save the aggravation. So yeah parking right up on other people's vehicles is an affront to that person-sort of a challenge or whatever. Doesn't matter if there's no damage.
Of course the exception to the rule is if parking is way super tight and the idiot squeezed their car in where it really shouldn't have been.

Thanks, I appreciate that post :) The way the last two comments went, i was just gonna leave the thread alone.. But honestly, the point is not damage, or no damage.. There is plenty of room inside the painted parking spaces, there was no need for them to be touching my truck. I was well inside my space, they were well outside theirs.
I've been keeping a close eye on my truck the last couple days, and it seems fine so far.. Therefore, I take it they understood i meant business.. People work hard for their possessions, and I am no different. I respect other vehicles, no matter the condition, and I deserve the same respect in return.

Just know that you are not alone feeling that way. You have a reason to. I hope they just let it go and I hope they man up enough to understand they were wrong and own it. If you didn't report it you should-it narrows the possibilities who would do it. What also narrows the field is if something DOES happen and happens in that lot it's a slam dunk and guess what-YOU HAVE DOCUMENTATION HERE IN THIS THREAD. You discussed it here, gave details here. Can't unring this bell.

My opinion is that you drop out of that college. It’s not worth taking the chance that your truck gets messed up. What do you need all those classes for anyway? I mean you were smart enough to buy a Tacoma right? Use your money to buy some nice weapons so next time some jokers like that come around you can put a real nice whoopin on them.:infantry:

But seriously you did the right thing, you just gata keep an eye out for a while thats all.

Seriously man, i did the same exact thing. i used to have manual locks and forgot one night, the one night they went to check if it was unlocked i lost my radar detector, my defense knife steeringwheel covers etc. BEST thing to do is get a 2-way alarm (it vibrates your keychain if the alarm goes off) a good buddy of mine has a Wrx and the light rain storm was settin it off haha. and in the long run itll save you too like in malls and airports.
